Life Science/Program Standard III1.a. All students will observe life cycles of different living things
Live caterpillars to observe the process of metamorphosis. Books on butterflies or caterpillars.
Begin the lesson with introducing the vocabulary of life cycle. Students may move the rectangle to find the definition, then participate in brainstorming other words with the word "cycle" in them. Students may come up to the board to circle the word "cycle" in each word. The remaining slides are self explanatory.
