1. Organizing the classroom:

T checks to see if there are any absentees in the classroom, writes them in the catalogue and starts the lesson.

Time: 1 minute Aim: to facilitate the learning process

2. Warm-up T asks Ss to look at the pictures from page 81 and makes a contest. T asks Ss to work in pairs and quickly find Romanian equivalent of the expressions. Ss will have no more than two minutes. T writes the name of the new module on the whiteboard Module 7. Experiences. Time: 3 minutes Aim: to arise the Ss interest in the topic Skills: speaking 3. Activity one (lexis)

T checks to see if the pupils understand the meaning of the adjectives from exercise one page 81, then asks them to quickly decide which activities they would/ wouldnt like . Then T arranges them in pairs to ask each other about the chosen activities. After that T tells Ss that all of these experiences cant happen more than once and then writes the title of the text on the whiteboard. Sample questions and answers:

Would you like to swim with the dolphins?

Yes Id like to swim with the dolphins, its exciting!Time:5 minutes

Aim: to familiarize Ss with the new topic, to have them ask and answer questions related to the topic.

Skills: speaking4. Activity two (writing/speaking/listening/) T asks Ss to look at the pictures from page 82, then asks the following:

The place where the pictures were taken.

To describe the pictures in two sentences, to imagine they are there and elicit what they might be able to see, hear, smell etc. there and write their description in their notebooks. Ss can work in teams of two. Teacher will then ask one or two Ss to read their answers. Lastly T plays the recording. Time: 7 minutesAim: to introduce the topic and predict the content.Skills: listening/speaking

5. Activity three (reading)T asks Ss to complete exercise two page 82.

Aims: to practice reading comprehension.

Time:4 minutes6. Activity four (writing)T asks Ss which experience was the most interesting asking them to write a short sentence about it.

Time: 3 minutes

Aim: To consolidate information from text7. Activity five (speaking) T asks Ss to describe in one sentence their own unique experience and then asks Ss to read what they wrote.Time: 4 minutes

Aim: To consolidate information in a text

8. Activity six (lexis)T asks Ss to work in pairs and search for the word collocations from exercise three, page 83.

Time:4 minutes.9. Activity seven (grammar: present perfect structure).T asks Ss the form of the Present Perfect Tense, then asks them to look in the text for examples. At the end T will write the formula on the whiteboard, asking Ss to complete the grammar box page 84. T asks Ss to write the past participle of the irregular verbs from exercise two.

Time: 7 minutes

Aims: To present the present perfect affirmative and negative10. Activity eight (grammar: present perfect used for life experiences at an unspecified time in the past).T asks Ss to imagine that they lived an adventurous life and then solicits them to pick two experiences which they have lived and two experiences which they havent using the illustrations from exercise 4a. Time: 8 minutes.

Aim: Familiarize Ss with describing past life experiences using the present perfect.

11. Activity nine (homework)

T asks Ss to complete the sentences from exercise three page 83. Then asks the Ss to think about their own life experiences and use the adjectives from exercise 4b.Ex. I have climbed mountains, it was tiring.

Time: 3 minutes.
