wants to be a millionaire?’ ask students to participate in the game

Get the students to sit back down and refocus, explain the definition of self-report survey. Will use questioning technique to see if students understand. I will try to focus my answers to the quieter students e.g Fatima

I will give the students an example of a self-report survey to fill in anonymously and hand back to me. I will ask them how they found the questionnaire, and how truthful were they in their answers

I will give students the key terms and their definitions. They will work in pairs or on their own to match the terms to their correct definitions. I will go around to make sure they understand

by moving to the correct corner of the classroom to answer. This active learning will help to focus Lina, Reece and Kaainat who display off task behaviour. It will also help to get Abuzar, Louis and Fatima get more involved as they tend to be reserved

Students will write this definition down if they wish as this is one of their key terms. And can answer questions to show their understanding.

Students will complete the self-report sheet, and feedback to the class on how they felt about the survey.

Students will match the key terms to their correct definitions. TheESL students (Veronique, Angelique and Alicija) can support one another, which they tend to do. Zaynera the LSA can support Eveliene in this task.
