It is the second part of Corvus. Here the crow is kidnapped by a magician. But corvus through his intelligent move escapes from him and returns to the professor.

Procedure Divide the class into groups of four. Give each group a segment to read. Explain the comprehension of the words like dumbfounded, unanimously, antics, etc. help them in understanding the meaning of these words. Ask them to note down phrases and guess their meanings. For eg: splashed the news – to write all over the newspaper. Let them discuss and locate the lines that justify the sentences, like professor Shanku was an observant man. Then discuss the question answers and read between the lines.

Supplemental activities Explain them present perfect tense. Ask them to underline the have and the verb that goes with it. Eg: I have cleaned the board. She has changed the flowers in the vase.
