4. To analyze the relation between ecosystem, material changes and energy and the human’s

4.2 To explain the interrelation between human activities and damage/pollution in
environment and the effort of environment conservation
Indicator
1. Cognitive
1) To explain the effect of various pollutant in environment
2) To conclude the effect of pollutant to environment and organisms life
3) To describe the efforts of prevention and handling of environemntal pollution
2. Affective
1) Character
To show the character behavior, such as: discipline, honest, hardworking, and
independent and responsible
2) Social skill
To show social skill such as: asking, giving idea or opinion, being a good listener,
and communicate politely.

After going through the learning process, the students will able to have several
competence such as:
1) To define the interpretation of environmental pollution based on the observation in
their surroundings environment
2) To differentiate the resources of environmental pollution based on the pollutant
characteristics
3) To explain the kinds of environmental pollution based on the discussion
4) To explain the effect of pollutant to environment based on observation in their
surroundings environment
5) To explain the distribution of pollutant based on the observation in their surroundings
environment
6) To describe the prevention efforts in environmental pollution issue in their
surroundings environment
7) To describe the handling efforts in environmental pollution issue in their surroundings
environment
2. Affective
1) Character
Through the learning process, the students were involved and able to show character
behavior, such as: honest, cooperating, responsible, appreciate the other opinion and
religious.
2) Social skill
Through the learning process, the students involve and able to show social skill, such
as: being a good listener, and communicate politely
B. Learning Material
a. Definition of environmental pollution
Environmental pollution is entry of certain material into the environment that can
interrupt the lives of organisms that exist in that environment.
b. Resource and distribution of pollutant
Pollution resources (pollutant) comes from nature and environment. Pollution that
comes from the nature, such as lava of volcano, smoke cause of woods fire, thunder,
and the damage of environment cause of flood. Besides of that. Pollutant resources
that comes from the environment itself is the human activities that can produce waste

that can be thrown in the nature, such as smoke of vehicles, factory smoke, residue
of lubricating oil, chemical substance that had been thrown in the river, and the noisy
sound of plane and vehicle.

Student writes the learning material and listens the explanation from teacher carefully

Teacher displays the picture of polluted environments that already uploaded by the students in social media Facebook and displays the student comments about that issues
Students paid attention to the photos and comments that had been displayed by the teacher

Teacher points toward students that had not gave some comments in Facebook to giving their opinion about the cause of, effects and the handling steps about that issues and giving chance to other students to give some responses or offering questions about the students opinion
Students that had been designated to give opinion about the cause, effect, and handling steps from the pollution issues that had been shown by the teacher, while the other students pays attentions and giving responses about the opinion of the students

Teacher gives corrections about the answer that already given by the students and giving more detailed explanation about that
Students writes or listens carefully about teacher explanation

Teacher gives homework to students to make summary related to the material about environmental pollution that include cause, effect, and the handling steps from pictures that had been uploaded by the other students and discussion that already carried out.
