F. The Learning Method

Learning Method : Direct Learning Model

Approach : Question and Answer

G. Learning Activities

Introduction

Fase 1 : Clarify goals and establish set

- Teacher generally presents the learning objective that is determine the mean,

median and mode of single data.

- Apperception : Teacher leads the students to recall the lesson that had been learnt

in the previous meeting that is about frequency distribution table, cumulative

frequency, interval class and middle value.

- Motivation : Teacher motivates the students by relating the material that being

discussed with real life situation, for examples; if we have a collection of data, we

can determine the central tendency by calculating the mean, median, and mode of

those data.

Main Activities

Fase 2 : Demonstrate knowledge or skill

- Teacher explain about mean in single data.

Fase 3 : Provide guided practice

- Teacher gives a frequency distribution table and asks the students to determine the

mean.

- Teacher guide the students in determining the mean.

Fase 2 : Demonstrate knowledge or skill

- Teacher explain about median in single data.

Fase 3 : Provide guided practice

- Teacher gives a frequency distribution table and asks the students to determine the

median.

Page 3: Lesson plan 3rd meeting

- Teacher guide the students in determining the median.

Fase 2 : Demonstrate knowledge or skill

- Teacher explain about mode in single data.

Fase 3 : Provide guided practice

- Teacher gives a frequency distribution table and asks the students to determine the

mode.

- Teacher guide the students in determining the mode.

Fase 4 : Check for understanding and provide feedback

- Teachers check students' understanding by giving a quiz.

Closing

Fase 5 : Provide extended practice and transfer

- Teachers encourage students to review the material that was learned today.

- Teachers give homework to students.
