To fear God means to worship, obey, and respect God above all things.

It means they know that God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus is their most important treasure, and they aren’t willing to give that up for anything—even at the risk of their own life.

God is faithful to his Word and that he has power to do everything he promises.

What does God’s name mean?

1. God has name names by which he wants us to know him. Read Matthew 28:19. Which names did Jesus say we should use when we baptize?

What do these names tell us about Jesus?He is our wonderful guide. He is the all-powerful God. He is eternal—he and the Father are one. He rules as the one who is peace between God and humanity.
