lesson 13 Bermuda Triangle Step 1. Information about Bermuda Triangle The Bermuda Triangle, sometimes called “The Graveyard of the Atlantic”, is one of the greatest mysteries of the world. This is an area of the Western Atlantic between Bermuda an d Florida, roughly triangular in shape, where isnce 1945 m ore than a hundred planes and ships have disappeared and o ver a thousand people have been lost, without a single bod y or a piece of wreckage from the vanishng ships or planes having been found. It is as if these planes, ships, and pe ople had never existed. Disappearances in theBermuda Trian gle have continued to the present day with apparently incr eaing frequency, in spite of the fact that the seaways and airways are more travelled, searches are more thorough and records are more carefully kept. Many theories have been p ut forward to account for te incidents that happen in this area, but so far not an explanation is satisfactory.
