Leslie Goes to the Doctor

We hopped into the car and we drove to the clinic. Leslie needed to get her five year old shots.

We were waiting in the waiting room. It took a long time. We saw someone else who got their five year old shots. They had suckers.

Dad took a funny picture of all three of us. He didn’t know if all three of us were going to fit in the picture. We played “I spy” while we were waiting. No one could guess Peter’s I spy.

Leslie is in the doctor’s office. Don’t you like her smile. She’s feeling a little nervous.

The nurse took Leslie’s blood pressure. It was tight around Leslie’s arm. The nurse said Leslie’s blood pressure was good.

Leslie had to take her shirt off to get the shots.

Leslie’s shots hurt a lot. She started to cry. The first shot hurt the most. The second two shots hurt no as much as the first.

Leslie got a lollipop. It was blueberry flavor. It was gooder than good!
