La Société Française de Phlébologie se réjouit de célébrer avec vous ses 70 ans d’existence, lors de son prochain congrès annuel, qui se déroulera du 7 au 9 décembre 2017 à l’Hôtel Pullman Paris-Centre Bercy, comme en 2016. Le Président du congrès 2017 sera René Milleret, l’un de nos plus anciens membres du Conseil d’Administration, à qui nous souhaitons rendre hommage pour sa fidélité à notre société, son apport créatif et inventif à la phlébologie et ses qualités humaines.

Le vendredi 8 sera une journée internationale, dédiée à Michel Vigla, généreux membre bienfaiteur de la SFP, ayant permis la création du Fonds de Dotation du même nom. Nous aurons le plaisir d’avoir deux invités d’honneur de renom, le Pr Nicos Labropoulos (Stony Brook ; USA), et le Pr Philippe Arbeille (Tours). L’un et l’autre ont permis des avancées fondamentales dans le domaine des ultrasons. Le Pr Labropoulos interviendra lors d’une session organisée par Marianne de Maeseneer, au cours de laquelle de nouvelles perspectives sur les ultrasons vous seront révélées. Quant au Pr Arbeille, concepteur de l’échographie à distance, il fera une démonstration du système utilisé pour l’expérience ECHO, menée avec succès sur Thomas Pesquet lors de son séjour sur l’ISS (station spatiale internationale).

Tout au long du congrès, avec de nombreux experts nationaux et internationaux, la SFP vous proposera des sessions de thèmes très variés dont certains peuvent paraitre assez classiques, mais toujours passionnants et nécessitant une actualisation permanente, comme la thrombose, les ultrasons, les ulcères, la gestion et les traitements des varices, les bonnes pratiques ... D’autres sujets et leurs approches seront plus inhabituels et vous surprendront, tels que « les affections veineuses en pédiatrie » ou « la maladie veineuse chronique et la maladie hémorroïdaire ». Nous n’avons pas hésité à faire appel à des experts d’autres disciplines pour ces thèmes, de même que pour la phlébologie/dermatologie esthétique, pour plaies et cicatrisations…

Quatre expertes de renommée, provenant de pays différents, nous feront part de leur vision de l’avenir de la phlébologie, sous différentes approches. En dehors de nos habituels et agréables rendez-vous avec la SFMV et le Club Mousse, nous aurons quelques nouveautés, dont une session dédiée à nos amis du Maghreb et une autre dédiée aux jeunes Européens sur le thème de l’endoveineux.

Le samedi sera une journée « spéciale » puisque la SFP est fière d’accueillir le matin, pour une belle session commune sur l’insuffisance veineuse chronique, le Collège Italien de Phlébologie (CIF) et son Président, Oscar Maleti, notre ami de toujours, membre d’honneur de la SFP.

La compression aura sa journée dédiée grâce à l’International Compression Club (ICC) qui nous rejoindra également toute la journée du samedi.

L’interactivité n’est jamais oubliée à la SFP et nous compterons sur votre participation active lors des plénières mais aussi par le biais de l’application, des communications libres, des ateliers, Forum et séquences Flash (attention cérémonie de remise des prix séquences Flash le vendredi à 18h30)…

ATTENTION : la date limite de soumission est au 29 septembre 2017

Les résumés sont à adresser sur http://www.event.divine-id.com/abstract/connexion_abstract.phpLe résumé de votre communication devra comporter 300 mots au maximum, en français de préférence, ou en anglais.MISE EN PAGE : • Utiliser la police de caractère Times New Roman, corps 11, en simple interligne (à défaut Arial 11),• Titre, en majuscule, indiquant clairement le sujet de la communication, sans abréviation• Sous le titre, en majuscule, initiale du prénom et nom des auteurs (souligner le nom de l’auteur qui présentera la communication)• Sous les noms, indiquer institutions et adresses (référencées par numéro aux auteurs)• Mentionner 2 ou 3 mots-clés• Sauter une ligne avant le début du résumé.

CONTENU :Le résumé doit être informatif, structuré et, pour les travaux originaux, se conformer au format suivant : Objectifs / Méthodes / Résultats / ConclusionEviter les graphiques, tableaux, figures et références bibliographiquesTout le texte doit être saisi en minuscule, justifié à gauche (seule, la première lettre de chaque phrase est saisie en majuscule).Les abréviations peuvent être utilisées à condition d’être explicitées lors de leur première apparition dans le texte. Un chiffre en début de phrase doit être écrit en toutes lettres. Les auteurs seront, par ailleurs, invités à proposer un article in extenso sur leur sujet, article destiné à être publié dans la revue de la SFP, « Phlébologie Annales Vasculaires ».Cet article devra être écrit de préférence en français, mais les textes en anglais seront acceptés. Sequence flash SFP

De quoi s’agit-ilLa Séquence Flash (SF) est un module d’une durée de 1 minute à 1 minute 30 secondes maximum.Il s’agit d’une opportunité (gratuite), ouverte à tous les membres de la SFP, ainsi qu’aux partenaires industriels de la SFP, de faire passer un message, celui-ci ne devant cependant en aucun cas être un message publicitaire. Le format peut être une présentation PowerPoint avec transitions automatisées, une vidéo commentée, un dessin d’animation...

SujetLe sujet doit avoir un lien avec la phlébologie, apportant des données scientifiques, informatives, pratiques ou techniques, tips and tricks...

ObjectifPermettre aux membres de la SFP de faire passer des messages courts, des idées novatrices ou des aides et des améliorations à la pratique courante...Permettre aux sociétés commerciales de faire passer des messages utiles, d’apporter une contribution scientifique ou technique, de créer une émulation saine entre les concurrents et d’entretenir le partenariat.

Format, obligations légalesPrésentation courte (vidéo, animation, ppt en format 16/9 ...) de 1 min à 1 min 30 maximum.Un comité SFP sera chargé de vérifier et valider les séquences Flash à réception, sur leur format mais aussi sur le respect des obligations légales, éthiques et déontologiques.Images, et musique le cas échéant, doivent être libres de droits ; un non-respect de ces obligations légales engage l’auteur. Le comité SFP se réserve le droit de ne pas valider une séquence Flash en cas de non justification par l’auteur d’une demande faite sur des droits à l’image ou à la musique.L’auteur reste seul responsable du contenu informatif et scientifique de sa séquence Flash.

Candidats• médecins ou chirurgiens membres de la SFP• représentants de l’industrie partenaires de la SFP.La participation est gratuite, la seule condition pour soumettre une Séquence Flash est, pour les membres SFP, d’être inscrit au congrès, et pour les industriels d’être partenaires du congrès SFP concerné.

Où et quand envoyer la séquence Flash ?En amont du congrès, les séquences devront être envoyées à la SFP : courrier@sf-phlebologie.org (via wetransfer si vidéo).La date limite pour recevoir les Séquences Flash est fixée pour chaque congrès.Pour le congrès de décembre 2017, la date limite d’envoi est fixée au 31 octobre 2017.

Diffusion pendant le congrèsLa sélection SF du comité SFP et sa programmation seront confiées en régie en début de congrès.• Des projections de SF, annoncées par un jingle dédié, seront faites en début et en fin de sessions tout au long du congrès. Le sujet de

la SF peut être ou non en relation avec le thème de la session qui se termine ou de celle qui va démarrer.• Une diffusion sera faite en permanence sur des bornes, dans l’espace stand, tout au long du congrès.• Plusieurs sessions de SF commentées sont programmées. Durant ces sessions, les auteurs des SF sélectionnées auront la possibilité

de commenter leur présentation et de répondre aux questions.• Enfin, une cérémonie de remise des trophées SF sera programmée dans la soirée du vendredi du congrès SFP.

La cérémonie de remise des trophées séquences flash 2017La cérémonie de remise des prix séquences flash aura lieu le vendredi 8 décembre 2017 de 18h30 à 19h30.Quatre prix seront remis lors de la cérémonie des trophées séquences flash:• Un prix spécial du Jury • Un prix didactique• Un prix artistique• Un prix pour les Industriels.Le prix spécial du jury sera attribué selon les résultats des votes du comité SFP.Les autres prix seront attribués selon les votes des congressistes, ces votes ayant lieu tout au long du congrès avant la cérémonie.Les prix ne sont pas cumulables.

Diffusion après le congrès• Les SF validées par le Comité SFP sont chaque année mises en ligne après le congrès sur le site de la SFP et sont en permanence

visualisables : http://www.sf-phlebologie.org/vie-de-la-sfp/sequences-flash Sont ainsi déjà en ligne les SF des années 2014, 2015 et 2016.

• Tous les 15 du mois, 2 ou 3 SF de la sélection de l’année en cours sont envoyées via internet par Newsletters SFP à un large public du monde phlébologique.

What is it about?A Flash Sequence (FS) is a module lasting between one minute and one minute and thirty seconds maximum.It is free and open to all of the SFP members, as well as to the industrial partners of the SFP, to convey a message, which however may not in any way be an advertising message. Possible formats can be a PowerPoint presentation with automated transitions, a commented video, or an animation...

SubjectThe subject must be related to phlebology, bringing scientific, informative, practical or technical data, tips and tricks...

ObjectiveTo enable the SFP members to convey short messages, innovative ideas or aids and improvements to current practices...To allow commercial companies to pass on useful messages, to make a scientific or technical contribution, to promote a healthy competition between participants and to maintain the partnership.

Format, legal obligationsShort presentation (video, animation, PowerPoint in 16/9 format ...) from 1 min to 1 min 30 maximum.An SFP committee will be responsible for verifying and validating the flash sequences upon reception, on their format, but also on compliance with legal, ethical and deontological obligations.Images, and music if any, must be free of rights; Non-compliance with these legal obligations shall be binding upon the author. The SFP committee reserves the right not to validate a flash sequence in case of non-justification by the author of a request made on rights to the image or to the music.The author remains solely responsible for the informative and scientific content of his flash sequence.

Candidates• Doctors or surgeons who are members of the SFP• Industry representatives who are SFP partners.Participation is free. The only condition for submitting a flash sequence is, for SFP members, to be registered in Congress, and for industrialists to be partners of the relevant SFP Congress.

Where and when to send the flash sequence?The flash sequences will have to be sent to the SFP ahead of the congress at: courrier@sf-phlebologie.org (via WeTransfer if it is a video).The deadline for receiving the flash sequences is set for each congress.For the December 2017 congress, the deadline for sending them is October 31, 2017.

Broadcast during the congressThe FSs selection of the SFP committee and its programming will be entrusted to the Board at the beginning of the congress.• FSs projections, announced by a dedicated jingle, will be made at the beginning and at the end of the sessions throughout the

congress. The subject of the FSs can or may not be related to the theme of the session that ends or the one that will start.• A broadcast will be made permanently on terminals, in the exhibition hall, throughout the congress.• Several commented FS sessions are programmed. During these sessions, the authors of the selected FSs will have the opportunity to

comment on their presentation and answer questions.• Finally, a FS award ceremony will be scheduled on the Friday evening of the SFP congress.

2017 Flash Sequence Award ceremony The Flash Sequence Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.Four prizes will be presented during the flash sequence awards ceremony:• A special Jury prize• A didactic prize• An artistic prize• A prize for the industrialists.The Special Jury prize will be awarded according to the results of the SFP committee votes.The other prizes will be awarded according to the votes of the congress delegates; these votes will take place during the Congress before the ceremony.Prices are not cumulative.

Broadcast after the congress• The FSs validated by the SFP committee are put online each year after the Congress, on the website of the SFP and are permanently

viewable: http://www.sf-phlebologie.org/vie-de-la-sfp/sequences-flash. The FSs from 2014 to 2016 can be viewed on line.

• Every 15th of the month, 2 or 3 FSs of the current year’s selection are sent via the Internet by SFP newsletter to a wide audience of the Phlebology world.

Dear Colleagues,The Société Française de Phlébologie is delighted to invite you to celebrate with us its first 70 years of existence, at its next Annual Congress to be held between 7th and 9th December 2017 at the Hôtel Pullman Paris-Centre Bercy, the same venue as in 2016.The President of the 2017 Congress will be René Milleret, a “veteran” member of our Board, to whom we would like to pay our respects for his loyalty to our society, his creative and inventive contribution to phlebology and his human qualities.Friday 8th December will be an international day, dedicated to the late Michel Vigla, a benefactor member of the SFP, who bequeathed in 2014 a generous donation to our Society who subsequently created the “Fonds de Dotation M Vigla”. We shall also have the pleasure of hosting two famous guests of honour, Professor Nicos Labropoulos (from Stony Brook, USA) and Professor Philippe Arbeille (from Tours). Both have enabled fundamental advances to be made in the field of ultrasound. Professor Labropoulos will be contributing to a session organised by Marianne de Maeseneer, during the course of which you will learn about new prospects for ultrasound.Professor Arbeille is the inventor of remote ultrasound imaging and he will demonstrate the system used for the ECHO ultrasound experience, successfully performed on Thomas Pesquet during his stay on the ISS (the International Space Station).Throughout the Congress, the SFP will be offering you sessions with numerous national and international experts on a variety of subjects, some of which may appear to be fairly traditional, but all will be enthralling and there is a need to keep constantly abreast of new developments in fields such as thrombosis, ultrasound techniques, ulcers, the management and treatment of varicose veins and good practice in general. Other subjects and the approaches to them will be more unusual and you are in for some surprises such as “venous disease in paediatrics” or “chronic vein disease and hemorrhoids”. We have not hesitated to call upon experts in other disciplines for these themes, as well as for other topics shared with dermatology experts.Four famous female guests who are experts in the field of phlebology and are from different countries will share their vision of the future of phlebology, each taking a different approach.Apart from our traditional and delightful meetings with the SFMV (Société Française de Médecine Vasculaire) and the “Club Mousse”, there will be certain innovations, such as a session dedicated to our friends in North Africa and another dedicated to young Europeans on the theme of endovenous treatments.Saturday will be a “special” day because in the morning, the SFP is proud to be able to welcome, for a shared session on the subject of chronic venous insufficiency, the Italian College of Phlebology (CIF) and its President, Oscar Maleti, our long-time friend and honorary member of the SFP.Compression will also have its day dedicated to the International Compression Club (ICC) who will also be spending the whole of Saturday with us.
