1. Introduction

Start-up Bootcamp for Foodpreneurs is a group mentoring workshop from Lemon Ideas

that provides opportunity to understand the dos and don’ts about a food venture for

aspiring entrepreneurs.

To support the increasing interest of individuals

in food domain, Lemon Ideas has designed this

unique boot-camp with support of prominent

and renowned names of hospitality industry

which brings a lot of experience to help out

individuals inpursuing an entrepreneurial career

in hospitality business.

This workshop will help you learn how to cook

and serve the tastiest and delicious business

model in front of the customers and investors to

suit their taste buds.

3. Intended Audience

There are no age criteria for the course. Anyone interested in exploring and learning the insights of a food business and wants to start his/her own business in food industry.

Mr. Manoj Bali (Radisson’s): Mr. Manoj Bali comes with a rich background of around 3 decades in Hospitality. He graduated from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai. They say, one is lucky if they get a chance to work in Oberoi in Indian Hospitality, and Mr. Bali has been one of those few who have



grown with The Brand Oberoi. Currently working as a general Manager at Radisson Blu, Nagpur.

Mr. MukulKulkarni (Breakfast Story):Mr.Mukulkulkarni is the owner of Breakfast story the best place to get you a healthy breakfast with an ambience filled with creativity. Mr. Mukul is an Architect by profession and Breakfast story was his dream which he is living now.

Mr. Ankit Agrawal (Panino):Ankit is a dynamic person with a new vision and perspective towards food industry. He is the owner of Panino Foods Pvt. Ltd. Panino is a sandwich specialty restaurant having 3 outlets in Nagpur, 2 in Surat, 1 in Ahmedabad and growing.

Mr. AdityaNaniwadekar (Hibiscus):He is the owner of Hibiscus, Nagpur, Copper- a casual dining and Madras Kitchen, Nagpur. He is also the owner of Aditya Caterers which is a catering company since 1980. He has done his BA from Institute of Hotel management, Aurangabad and diploma in hotel management from Taj groups of hotel.

Mr. Ashish Kamble (Centre point Hotel)*:Banquet Manager Centre point hotel

Mr. Vishnu Manohar(Vishnujikirasoi) *:Vishnu Manohar of Manohar group is a well known Executive Chef from Central India and has honors of having more than 1200 live shows all over India on cookery through which he has trained more than 1.5 Lacs ladies.He is a famous city lad, Bachelor of Fine Arts and working as Executive Chef for the famous Manohar Group providing Professional catering services for past 24 years.

Mr. Nilesh Naidu(Salt n pepper): Nilesh is the owner of Salt n Pepper and has an experience of 10+ years in food industry.



Mr. Prashant Virkhare: Prashant Virkhare is a faculty of food & Beverages at Government Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. He has 15 yrs. of experience in hotel management.

11. Selection Criteria

The aspiring candidate has to go through 3 following stages:

1) Registration

2) Entrepreneurial acumen Test

3) Personal Interview/ Presentation in case of food related Idea.

(Note: The candidate will be enrolled provided they can devote his full time to the

workshop)

‘crazy’ ideas has been a visible colour in his self –made professional journey. His rich

experience includes Managing Talent and People functions in IT industry. Before Lemon

ideas, he has co-founded ONE Foundation and Lambent Technologies (Now

GlobalLogic). He has mentored over 100 talented professionals over 15 years of

professional journey and is currently mentoring 10+ start-ups ideas. He is regularly

quoted in regional and national media publications on start-ups, innovation and

education.

Dr. Rajeev Roy

Rajeev Roy became an entrepreneur soon after completing his PGDM from IIM

Ahmedabad. He was an entrepreneur for nine years before he joined academics. His

ventures include food processing, agriculture and knowledge process outsourcing.

Currently the Chief Gardner at the Lemon School of Entrepreneurship (LSE), he taught

entrepreneurship for over nine years and was a full time faculty member at Xavier

Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB), IIM Raipur and Loyola University

Maryland.

He has mentored several entrepreneurs and is on the advisory board of National

Entrepreneurship Network (NEN). He has been an advisor or a consultant to several

governments and multi-lateral organizations on the development of entrepreneurship.

Mr. Vikas Rajput

Vikas was an entrepreneur for five years with three years of corporate experience. He

has mentored several entrepreneurs and has been an advisor or a consultant to several

institutes and multi-lateral organisations on the development of entrepreneurship some

of them being Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida, Institute of Management

Studies (IMS, Noida). He has been awarded Goldman Sachs – National Entrepreneurship

Network Certified Faculty Scholar. He has done a course ‘Entrepreneurship Educator

Course (EEC) from National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) in collaboration with IIM –

B and Stanford University’.



Praveen Kanda

Praveen is a passionate technology developer with 15+ years of experience in mobile

software development. He has witnessed the evolution of mobile technology since last

decade and has been part of the transformation and changes in mobile space. He is VP

(Engineering) with XYMOB and has previously worked with leading product

development companies like Autodesk, Global Logic and Lambent. He is Pioneer in

developing location platforms for wireless operators in Asia and North America.

Sanjay Arora

Sanjay is CEO, Shells Advertising. Sanjay is popularly known as “Branding Guru”. Shells is

a highly professional, full service advertising agency with a proven track record of over

25 years in leveraging its strategic and creative abilities to build strong brands. Sanjay is

a specialist in Strategic Brand Communications, Creative Concept Development &

Writing for Campaigns, Brochures, e-Brochures, Presentations, Websites etc. He is been

faculty for Brand Management at IMT and at Department of Business Management with

more than over 13 years of teaching experience

Dr. Prabodh Yelne

Dr. Prabodh Yelne is a Director of Institute of Psycho Management Studies. He is a

Consultant Psychotherapist and is a founder President of Association of Counsellors and

Psychotherapists, Nagpur. He has worked as Consultant & Professional Counsellor for

Reserve Bank of India and many other organizations in central India. He was visiting

Faculty since 2000 to all reputed management colleges including Institute of

Management Technology (IMT).

Vivek Paliwal

Vivek is currently IT Operations Manager – Business Intelligence at GE Capital New York,

USA. Vivek is a computer science engineer currently working at GE Capital and has

around 15 years of experience in various industries. He worked as Datawarehouse

specialist at XL Capital Ltd. He was also associated with other major industries such as

Mascon Global Limited, ISC Software Consulting, XL Capital Ltd.



Raj Bordia

An alumnus of Asian Institute of Management , Philippines with good experience in

Corporate Planning & Reporting, Business Proposals, Financial Statement & Analysis and

Financial Modelling. Raj was ASIA PACIFIC CHAMPION for global HULT PRIZE in 2013. He

has studied Engineering and Management as part of his education. He is currently

working as Associate at SADIG, Saudi Arabia.

Nitin Gujarathi

Nitin has over two decades of experience in guiding & managing start-ups / established

organizations in India and Asia Pacific region. Executed engagements in industry

domains such as Insurance, Financial Services, Information Technology, Software

Services, ITeS / Business Process Outsourcing, IT Infrastructure, PC Manufacturing,

Media, Publishing, Consumer products & Retail.

Mr. Ranjit Dani

Mr. Ranjit Dani is founder director of 'Think'. A qualified chartered accountant, Ranjit is

amongst the first 10 successful Certified Financial Planners CM to qualify from challenge

status. He is most sought after speaker on the subject of financial planning at various

trade and professional bodies. He is widely quoted in various local & national

newspapers. He is on the board of Dr. Ambedkar Business School, Nagpur and visiting

faculty at many management colleges.

He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneur (TIE) Nagpur Chapter and is secretary

of Vidarbha Management Association (VMA). He is also a member of Vidarbha

Industries Association. He is also a member of PETA.
