(which will be the auction for Patriot Paws)May 14 (Tentative) BJ’s Brewery, Addison, Texas June 11 (Tentative) Outback Steakhouse, Plano, TX Jerry Echols reported that we need 6 cars for our club display (preferably C-1 through C-4) for Autorama February 19-21, 2016 at Market Hall. The club pays registration. If you would like to show your car, let Jerry know. Bill Preston reported he raised $220 for Patriot Paws while at a recent car show. He put out a bucket asking for donations for our charity. Jack Hays, Weekend Wrench Coordinator, has stepped down as coordinator. Currently, Sam Deneault will help out. Any volunteers? David Mullins, Owner of DMS Corvettes in Garland, was our program speaker. He is also a member of our club. His business specializes in Corvettes. He has worked professionally for 25 years on Corvettes at vari-ous local shops. He and his wife, Marla, now own DMS Corvettes. He is offering 10% off parts and labor to the end of January 2016. David also volunteered his shop to help out with any weekend wrench project. The After-Holiday party is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Tribute Golf Club beginning at 6:00. In the case of inclement weather, Tom Atchison reported that Tribute will contact him on Friday evening, January 8th OR on Saturday, depending on what the weather is doing. If in doubt, contact Tom Atchison (214) 215-1948 for a decision. If we have to cancel, you will be contact-ed by phone. Let’s hope for good weather! april 17, 1946 - December 5, 2015 James Ryan Gentry, 69, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Texoma Healthcare in Sherman, Texas. He was born Wednesday, April 17, 1946 in Dal-las, Texas, the son of John W. Gentry and Dorothy Hill. He worked for Texas Instruments and was in the U.S. Navy. James is survived by son Jason Gentry of Plano, Texas; brothers Steve Gentry and wife Gail of Sher-man, Texas, John W. Gentry, Jr. and wife Gay of Pottsboro, Texas; half-brother Rick Gross and wife Faye of Wichita Falls, Texas and sister Latricia Gen-try of Lakewood, California. A memorial service was held Friday, December 11, 2015 at Chapel on the Hill, Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
