Day 1 - Fly to Brussels, Belgium Home Pickup airport transfer. Overnight flight to Brussels, Belgium

Day 2 - Arrive Brussels / to Bruges Arrive in Brussels, Belgium this morning. Board your deluxe private motor coach for a fascinating tour of this medieval city. Then motor on to Bruges for a two night stay right in the heart of downtown. Free time to overcome jetlag, before our included dinner at a fine local restaurant. (D)

Day 3 - Bruges Tour / Free Time Enjoy an included morning walking tour of Bruges, a delightful Flemish gem built around scenic canals and filled with colorful history. See Market Square, City Hall, and lovely walkways. Later glide down the canals on a scenic narrated cruise. Then enjoy free time to explore and shop.

Remember to try the local beer, some of the best in the world. (B)

Day 4 Bruges to Amsterdam Motor north to Amsterdam and stop at the world famous Keukenhof tulip gardens (full of spring blooms). Late afternoon, arrive at Amadeus Silver III; a brand new, state-of-the-art, deluxe rivership for 7 nights. Welcome cocktail party & dinner. Overnight on the ship docked in Amsterdam. (BD)

Day 5 Amsterdam Enjoy a morning guided coach & walking tour of Amsterdam, plus a narrated canal cruise. Free time to visit the Rijksmuseum or explore on your own. Meet up with the ship in Utrecht and continue up the Rhine River. (BLD)

Day 6 Cologne Enjoy a morning included walking tour

of Cologne, founded by Romans and now Germany’s fourth largest city. Visit the impressive Cathedral, home to the German archbishop. Free time to explore on your own. (BLD)

Day 7 Cochem & Moselle River Leave the Rhine and cruise up the scenic Moselle River, Germany’s wine region famous for fruity white wines. Stop in the village of Cochem, known for its imperial hilltop castle, for free time or take an optional coach tour with wine tasting. (BLD)

Day 8 Koblenz & Rudesheim (BLD) Arrive in Koblenz and enjoy a walking tour of the important trade city at the confluence of the Rhine & Moselle

Day 9 Mannheim & Speyer Join our coach for an included half day tour to nearby Heidelberg, the castle fortress town on the Romantic Road. Visit the Old Town filled with historic 1770’s buildings and woodcarver shops selling famous “Cuckoo Clocks.” Return to the ship for lunch and cruise on to our next port of call. Arrive in Speyer, an ancient walled city with an impressive Cathedral. Free time here or take an optional walking tour. Tonight, enjoy your Captain’s Gala Dinner on board ship. (BLD)

Day 10 Strasbourg An included morning walking tour of historic Strasbourg, France is sure to delight you. Stroll through the Le Petite France historic area, with its rushing

river, medieval buildings, cobblestone streets, and gorgeous flowers. Again, re-board the ship for lunch as we continue to cruise up the Rhine towards our final stop - Switzerland. (BLD)

Day 11 Fly Home from Zurich Disembark in Basel, Switzerland. Transfer to the Zurich airport for your return flights home. (B, IFM)
