A Service o
f
How
to plan your tripTo successfully use H
EAT and GTA’s extensive netw
ork of transportation services, you m
erely need to know:
• W
here you are and where you are going.
• W
hat time you need to be there.
1. First, find the route that serves your present location and your destination.
2. Next, look for your destination on the schedule and
read down the list of arrival tim
es until you find your preferred tim
e. 3. Finally, trace the tim
es backwards to your current
location. This is the time you need to be at the bus stop
to board your bus. 4. If your trip involves the use of m
ore than one route, apply the sam
e method starting w
ith the ending bus route and w
ork backwards.
Please note that the stops represented on the schedule are “tim
epoints” used to pace the bus progress along the route. There are additional stops in betw
een the tim
epoints, averaging every other block. You may need
to estimate your departure and arrival tim
es in between
timepoints.
How
to read the maps and schedules
The bus stops here at the tim
es listed below the
symbol in the schedule.
The numbers on the m
ap represent scheduled tim
epoints; other stops are served betw
een the tim
epoints.
The bus travels here som
etimes. See schedule
for trips that travel this route variation.
The connection point shows
where routes intersect and
transfers to other routes m
ay be available.
The timetable show
s thetim
e that the bus is scheduled to depart or arrive. Light tim
es are A.M.;
bold times are P.M
. Tim
es are approximate and
depend on traffic and w
eather conditions. Arrive at the bus stop 4-5 m
inutes early.
