with a third-place medal,” said Tigers coach Annette Moylan. “She played six sets of tennis on Monday and played incredible, finishing third out of 18 singles players. She showed great de-termination. As a coach all you can ask is that your players give it their all, and Ireland did that the entire season.”Last Thursday, Lambrecht de-

Tigers 42, Watertown-M 21Last wednesday’s game

against watertown-Mayer marked the second time in a row that the Tigers had over 500 yards of offense. They had 519 against previously unbeaten Marshall the Friday before and against the Royals they piled up 506 yards (350 rushing and 156 passing). On Belle Plaine’s second pos-

session, running back carter Brink scored on a 45-yard run. ruben baltierrez, who would be successful on all six of his extra-point kicks, made it 7-0 with 7:31 left in the first quar-ter.The Tigers also scored on

their next two possessions – a 32-yard TD pass from Luke Narveson to Jonny vinkemeier and a 24-yard run by Marcus walsh, making it 21-0 with 52 seconds left in the opening quarter. The Royals cut the lead to 21-7

with a scoring drive early in the second quarter but Belle Plaine built it right back up to 28-7 on a 24-yard keeper by Narveson with 7:24 left in the first half.w-M quarterback Adam Heil-

man scored on a keeper a few minutes later before a 71-yard screen pass play from Narveson to walsh made it 35-14 with 23 seconds left in the half. The second half was relatively

quiet as the Tigers and Royals both scored one touchdown. walsh’s third TD of the game came on a 66-yard scamper with 7:50 left in the third quar-ter. The Royals countered late in the fourth quarter on a 14-yard run by Nick Nolan.“I thought the kids did a pretty

The Scott county Sheriff’s Of-fice is hosting free cd course youth Snowmobile Training on Dec. 12-13. The training is for youth ages 11-15. The classes will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 4 p.m. on both days.

Students only have to attend one of the four-hour classes. The snowmobiles will be pro-vided and we ask that attend-ees do not bring their own snowmobiles. children will be responsible for bringing the ap-propriate clothing depending on weather as well as a snow-mobile helmet. Prior to attend-ing this training, children are responsible for contacting the Minnesota DNR and obtaining an interactive cD.

Prior to attending the class, children must preregister by calling 952-496-8322, Mon-day through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Space is lim-ited. Please have the child’s full name, date of birth, address and phone number available when you call. A parent must be available to sign a waiver at the beginning of the class.

you will not be allowed to participate in the classroom re-view/performance test unless you have first completed the youth Snowmobile Safety cD.

The following was taken off the Minnesota DNR website:

The cD-based youth snow-mobile safety training class is an introductory class designed primarily for the snowmobile rider with little or no experi-ence in snowmobile operation.

Students obtain and study the safety information on the inter-active cD at their own pace in the comfort of their own home under the guidance of a parent or guardian. Depending on the youth’s age and experience, the cD should take approximately 2-4 hours to complete.

Once they complete the cD, students print out a “voucher of completion” and look on the dnr website to find and regis-ter for a one-day Snowmobile Safety cD class in their area. The one day class includes classroom review of priority safety information and a per-formance driving course.
