Delta Nu Sorority Sisters: Keep it simple for California girls! Dress like it’s summer in Cali. Shorts, skirts, and dresses are

fine, but please make sure they follow school dress code and don’t fly up when dancing. In 2007, chunky belts and

dresses with half-tights were the jam. Really cute, really fun. Bright colors, jewel tones.

Saleswoman and Store Manager: Business Professional Wear…very posh. Store manager should look a bit more

professional than the saleswoman.

Warner: Warner should always look very put together. 2007 was the height of the layering/ Abercrombie phase (please

don’t go buy Abercrombie, just think of the look…) Very preppy. Think long sleeve with a t-shirt underneath. Let’s get a

puffy vest for the

Thankgiving scene. For

the court case, think very

nice suit-like clothes.

Something you would

wear to church. If you

need help with this, let

me know. Theatre can

take on the suit.

Grandmaster Chad and Frat Boys: Swim trunks or cargo shorts. Sleeveless shirts, tanks, or graphic tees. A couple of us

can wear sunglasses and/or hats.

Winthrop, Lowell, Pforzheimer (and Warner/ Emmett in court): You guys are stuffy Harvard professors. Let’s look very

professional! Your nicest church clothes. We don’t necessarily need jackets, but button down shirts and ties are a must.

Jet Blue Pilot: Let’s look for a pilot costume. I’d prefer a dark blue one to the white, but get

whatever’s cheapest for you.

Emmett Forrest: Emmett should look a little scruffy at the beginning. He is called “Ratty

Corduroy” by Callahan, so we have to make that work. He’s not got the money of the other

Harvard kids, so he’s doing the best he can. When he reappears in court, let’s have him

dressed to the nines. If you don’t already have something suit-like, tell your directors. We

can help.

Aaron and Sundeep- very preppy, looks expensive

Enid- looks very military (peace corps!) This may be difficult to find for a cheap price, so talk to your directors if needed.

For the second half of the show, Enid will need to be professionally dressed.

Vivienne- very preppy, East coast, comes from money. For the second half of the show, she’ll need to be in professional

clothing. I would prefer her court apparel to be either a dress or skirt suit. Dark colors: black, navy, grey.

Callahan- Very professional, all business. Dark colors. One suit with a couple of different color shirts should work.

Paulette- Very big prints and loud colors, maybe a bit tacky. Loves animal print! We’ll need two super fun outfits!

Whitney- follows Vivienne’s lead. Very preppy, East coast look. (See Vivienne)

Dewey- We want to really play up that Dewey is no good. Very sloppy. Maybe a dirty Red Sox shirt?

Brooke- fitness instructor with a quick change. We want super cute fitness clothes that can easily transition into jail

clothing. For the courtroom, we want professional clothing that is very fashionable (dress preferred). Brooke is pretty,

and she knows it. There are two ways to handle the quick change: 1) We start the song in bright orange cargo pants and

a top. When we transition from the video to the jail, we put on an orange button down with BWCF on the back. 2) we

have normal workout wear and jump into a prisoner jumper really fast. We can discuss these options.

Sabrina and all Video Performers- cute, stylish workout clothing. Boys must wear shirts, but tanks and sleeveless tees

are ok!! Ladies- try to remember that in 2007, the fitness clothing industry is not what it is today. These “tights” yoga

pants were not quite a thing yet. We had yoga pants, but they mostly had a boot cut. The tight capris just started coming

out. Sneakers required.

Harvard Law Students-very preppy. All of us are dressed in “earth tones”. Think browns, dark blues, maroons…nothing

too bright. Preppy style-Nice jeans or khakis for boys (see Warner/ Sundeep and Aaron) with button down shirts. You

can add vests, sweaters, etc. to complete the look. Girls- skirts, dresses, and nice pants are acceptable (see top 3

Vivienne photos). Again, just trying to really look preppy in comparison to Elle’s “cool LA” style. You can probably put

this together with items you have.
