• Art.97 (f) "Wage" paid to any employee shall mean the remuneration or earnings, however designated, capable of being expressed in terms of money, whether fixed or ascertained on a time, task, piece, or commission basis, or other method of calculating the same, which is payable by an employer to an employee under a written or unwritten contract of employment for work done or to be done, or for services rendered or to be rendered and includes the fair and reasonable value,

fixing. - The regional minimum wages to be established by the Regional Board shall be as nearly adequate as is economically feasible to maintain the minimum standards of living necessary for the health, efficiency and general well-being of the employees within the framework of the national economic and social development program.

• SEC 24. Minimum Wage. – The minimum wage of domestic workers shall not be less than the following:– (a) Two thousand five hundred pesos (P2,500.00) a

month for those employed in the National Capital Region (NCR);

– (b) Two thousand pesos (P2,000.00) a month for those employed in chartered cities and first class municipalities; and

– (c) One thousand five hundred pesos (P1,500.00) a month for those employed in other municipalities.

Domestic Workers Act (RA#10361)

• SEC. 30. Social and Other Benefits. – A domestic worker who has rendered at least one (1) month of service shall be covered by the Social Security System (SSS), the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and the Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG, and shall be entitled to all the benefits in accordance with the pertinent provisions provided by law.
