• Fact – Legal Aid of Marin has not received federal funding since 2001 so we can more fully serve all Marin residents.

• Legal Aid of Marin changed eligibility requirements in 2006 to increase the number of clients we can serve.

• We help Marin residents.• Clients must be low-income, or 60 years of

age or older, to receive a free consultation. [Older adults get a free consultation irrespective of income].

• We prioritize our services for clients to meet the greatest need.

- Wage & Hour Claims including

minimum wage, overtime and both meal and rest break

enforcement.

- Unfair Debt Collection- Consumer Fraud- Unfair Business Practices- Insurance Claims- Claims of Exemption- Financial Elder Abuse
