What is happening with thevenues after the Games? Will communities be able touse them? How will they bemanaged and funded for thelong-term?

    We are

Seeking a long-term tenant or theStadium ater the Games. A decisionon this is expected in Spring 2011.

Our intention or the Stadium is tomaximise value or money and serveboth the needs o elite sport andthe local communities. Eton Manorand the Velopark will be owned, managed and operated by the Lee

Valley Regional Park Authority. TheMulti-use Arena and the AquaticsCentre will be owned by the LegacyCompany and operated through amanagement company. We intendto have operators in place or allthe venues by 2012, making Londonthe first host city to achieve this. Allo these venues will have a strongemphasis on community usage and

access. For example, the AquaticsCentre will be used by schools, localclubs and amily un swims.

We believeLinks with existing communities arereally important. Bridges and clearroutes into the Park or those wholive in the communities nearby are akey part o our plans. Ultimately, wehope the legacy plans will help to re-connect the Park with its surroundingareas, and help stitch communitiesback together again.

In addition, the Park will be one othe best-connected destinations inLondon. Nine rail lines will serve thePark, with the extra connections
