Archaeologies of Narratives the museumConnecting point between old Athens and new Athens

Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities, with its history spanning around 3,400 years, and the earliest human presence around the 11th-17th millennium BC. Classical Athens was a powerful city-state that holds a center for the arts, learning and philosophy. Becuase of it’s long history, Athens has a lot of artifacts on small streets and public spaces

However, there is no connection with old artifacts and with new development. As time passes by,the system for history alos should change accoring to the system of society.

Using the a historical footprint, I propose an exhibition for ancient Agora. Also some parts exhibit media art or grati using current city conditions.

By making dierent level platfroms, visitors can see a exhibition wall or stair plazas.

From the subway station square. There is a big stair plaza allowing diverse activities and on the right side, there is the Agora. From the platfrom people can see the Agora from dierent perspectives.

From the middle side of platform. It is in front of the new museum building and shows the escalator and vertical circulation. One of the main points is the connection from platform to the new museum’s 3rd oor .
