Installation of IC Relay

1. Remove the Seat, the standardTurn signal relay and FrameSide Cover (R-side).

2. Attach the cushion J to rightside of Stay as shown in thepicture.

3. Release standard clamp of harness and install Relay Holder Htogether with harness.

4. Plug the standard relay harnessinto “12V” & “Signal” terminal ofthe IC Relay G.

5. Connect the Earth Wire I tothe “GND” terminal of the ICRelay G.

6. Plug the IC Relay G into theRelay Holder H.

NOTE: Ensure the coupler of thestandard relay harness isresting on the Cushion J.

7. Release the standard clampand band the Earth Wire I andconnect the Earth Wire I to (–)terminal of the Battery.

NOTE: Adjust the direction of ter-minal of Earth Wire I. (90degrees to the Battery)

If operation is OK, install the Rear fender cover in the reverse order ofremoval.

Installation du relais clignotant

1. Déposer la selle, le relais du cli-gnotant standard et le couver-cle latéral du cadre (Côté D).

2. Coussinet isolant J sur le côtédroit du support, comme illustrépar la figure.

3. Libérer l’attache câble du faisceau et monter le support du relais Havec l’attache câble d’origine.

4. Raccorder le faisceau decâbles du relais standard auxbornes “12V” et “Signal” durelais clignotant G.

5. Raccorder le fil de mise à lamasse I à la borne “GND” durelais clignotant G.

6. Placer le relais clignotant G surson support H.

NOTE: Placer le coussinet J

contre le coupleur du fais-ceau de câbles du relaisstandard.

7. Libérer l’attache de câble stan-dard et le collier du fil de mise àla masse I et raccorder le filde mise à la masse I à laborne (–) de la batterie.

NOTE: Ajuster le sens d’installa-tion de la borne au sensde direction du fil de misea la masse I. (90 degréspar rapport à la batterie)

3. Fixer soigneusement le clignotant à LED A au couvercle latéral ducadre (GSX-S1000F) ou au tirant du tableau de bord (GSX-S1000).

NOTE: Régler les clignotants gauche et droit dans la même direction.(90 degrés par rapport au sol)

4. Raccorder le faisceau (court) B au faisceau de câbles de la machine.

Installation du clignotant à LED arrière

1. Déposer le garde-boue arrìere.(Voir le manuel d’entretien de laGSX-S1000/F.)

2. Débrancher le coupleur du cli-gnotant arrière standard etdéposer les clignotants.

(Procéder aux mêmes opérationsà droite et à gauche.)

4. Remonter soigneusement le cli-gnotant à LED A sur le couver-cle arrière du cadre à l’aided’une rondelle F et d’un écrouE.

Vérifier que les clignotants à LED droit et gauche et le feu dedétresse fonctionnent et clignotent normalement.

Si le fonctionnement est satisfaisant, reposer le garde-boue arrière enprocédant en ordre inverse de la dépose.

NOTE: Régler les clignotants gau-che et droit dans la mêmedirection. (90 degrés parrapport au sol)

Einbau des IC-Relais

1. Sitz, Standard-Blinkleuchtenre-lais und Rahmenseitenabdek-kung (rechts) abnehmen.

2. Den Dämpfer J wie auf demBild gezeigt zur rechten Seiteder Strebe verkleben.

3. Die Standardklemme des Kabelbaums öffnen, und den RelaishalterH zusammen mit dem Kabelbaum anbringen.

Installazione del Relé a circuitointegrato

1. Rimuovere la sella, il relédell’indicatore di direzione e lacopertura laterale del telaio(destra).

2. Spessore J sul lato destro delsupporto come in figura.

3. Togliere la fascetta standard del cablaggio ed installare il supportodel relé H insieme al cablaggio.

4. Collegare il cablaggio del reléstandard a “12V” e al terminale“Signal” del relé a circuito inte-grato G.

5. Collegare il filo di terra I altrerminale “GND” del relé a cir-cuito integrato G.

6. Mettere il relé a circuito inte-grato G nel suo supporto reléH.

NOTA: Assicurarsi che il connet-tore del relè sia contro lospessore J.

7. Liberare la fascetta standard einserirvi il filo di terra I, quindicollegare quest’ultimo al termi-nale (–) della batteria.

NOTA: Orientare correttamente ilterminale del filo di terraI. (90 gradi rispetto allabatteria)

3. Fissare saldamente l’indicatore di direzione a LED A alla coperturalaterale (GSX-S1000F)

NOTA: Orientare gli indicatori di direzione destro e sinistro nella stessadirezione. (90 gradi rispetto alla batteria)

4. Connettere il filo (corto) B ai cablaggi del veicolo.

Installazione dell’indicatore a LED posteriore

1. Rimuovere la copertura para-fango posteriore.(Consultare il manuale di servi-zio della GSX-S1000/F)

2. Staccare il connettore standarddell’indicatore di direzioneposteriore e rimuovere l’indica-tore di direzione.

(Le operazioni sono uguali sia adestra che a sinistra)

3. Montare l’indicatore di direzionea LED A sulla staffa D.

4. Rifissare saldamente l’indica-tore di direzione A alla coper-tura posteriore del telaiomediante la rondella F e ildado E.

5. Connettere il filo (lungo) C

all’indicatore di direzione a LEDA.

Assicurarsi che l’indicatore di direzione a LED destro e sinistrolampeggi normalmente.

Se il controllo va a buon fine, reinstallare la copertura parafangonell’ordine inverso alla rimozione.

Instalación del relé IC

1. Quite el asiento, el relé de inter-mitente estándar y la cubiertalateral del bastidor (lado dere-cho).

2. Coloque la almohadilla J en ellado derecho del apoyo comose muestra en la ilustración.

3. Suelte la abrazadera estándar del mazo de cables e instale el porta-rrelés H junto con el mazo de cables.

4. Enchufe el mazo de cables delrelé estándar en el terminal“12V” y “Signal” del relé IC G.

5. Conecte el cable de tierra I alterminal “GND” del relé IC G.

6. Ponga el relé IC G en el porta-rrelés H.

NOTA: Ponga en contacto laalmohadilla J y el acopla-dor del mazo de cablesdel relé estándar.

3. Fije firmemente el intermitente LED A en la cubierta lateral del basti-dor (GSX-S1000F) o en el soporte de medidores (GSX-S1000).

NOTA: Ajuste los intermitentes derecho e izquierdo en el mismo sen-tido. (90 grados con relación al suelo)

4. Conecte el cable conductor (corto) B al mazo de cables del vehículo.

1. Quite la cubierta del guardaba-rros trasero.(Consulte el manual de serviciode la GSX-S1000/F)

2. Desconecte el acoplador delintermitente trasero estándar yquite los intermitentes.
