going at the start of winter will find the Wedel Week

Rates perfect for them. Enjoy the fantastic pistes and

the wide range of events on offer at a sensational rate.

7 – 30 January 2015: With reduced Low Season Rates

for hotels and guest houses you can enjoy the best

piste conditions and innumerable high Alpine deep

powder snow runs, especially in January when there is

lots of snow.

7 – 26 April 2015: Spring skiing is the highlight of

the year, mainly among connoisseurs. Enjoy the po-

wder snow on the north slopes and the finest icy firn

snow on the southern slopes in spring temperatures

with the reasonable Sun and Skiing Weeks and the

Snow Crystal Rates and the Snow Crystal Rates. The

lifts are also opening a little earlier in the firn season

– so you can conquer the glistening firn slopes from

8:30 am.

Travelling by car

Motorway stickers

Travel on Austrian motorways is subject to a toll. You can buy

motorway stickers from border crossings, petrol stations, at to-

bacconists, from Austrian automobile clubs or from Lech Zürs

Tourism. Motorway sticker prices for cars: 10 days € 8,50 •

2 months € 24,80 • Annual sticker: € 82,70 • Prices are subject

to change!

Parking options IHAll the hotels and guest houses in Lech and Zürs provide

adequate parking facilities for their guests. As well as par-

king in their underground garages and car parks, you can

also park in public car parks:

Lech: •Rüfiplatz car park (payment required)

•Mühle car park (payment required in winter/free in summer)

•Anger car park (payment required in winter/free in summer)

•Schlosskopf daily car park (free for skiers and snow-boarders as long as they have a paid and used skipass in win-ter/payment required in summer)

Zürs: • Trittkopf daily car park (free)

Caravans mThe parking of caravans and mobile homes in the region of

Lech Zürs am Arlberg is prohibited. Please consult the Lech

Zürs information office concerning the list of camping sites

in the surrounding.

Travelling by train

Langen am Arlberg railway station: 15 km, regular taxi and

bus connection (line 91), transfer time approx. 20 minutes.

St. Anton am Arlberg railway station: 20 km, regular taxi and

bus connection (line 92), transfer time approx. 30 minutes. If

you are arriving by train there are special saver fares in many

Free shuttle service, ski and hike bus

There is a modern bus service available for our guests which

provides a convenient connection between Lech, Oberlech,

Zug and Zürs, as well as to Alpe Rauz, the entrance to the ski

area around St. Anton am Arlberg (included in the Arlberg

Ski Pass). In summer you can use the local bus network in

the area from Lech to Hochtannberg and to the Spullersee

and Formarinsee lakes (included on the Lech Card).

For your evening activities between 07:30 pm and 03:00

am, the ”James“ regular bus service will help you make it

through the night at attractive rates.

Tips for travelling in winter

There are good train connections to Arlberg from Austria,

Germany and Switzerland – as well as from Zurich and Inns-

bruck airports. We advise those coming by car – especially on

Saturdays during the high season – to time their arrival so

they use the section of the road between Feldkirch and Lech

or Imst and Lech before 9.30 am and after 2 pm. On the re-

turn journey the period between 10.30 am and 3 pm is the

peak time for traffic jams. In winter you need to bear in mind

that there will be snow on the roads and winter tyres are com-

pulsory. You are also recommended to take snow chains with

you. When there is a heavy covering of snow on the roads,

snow chains are compulsory. You can obtain information at

all times via the 24 hour infophone: +43 (0)810 966150 on

the current condition of the roads.

Hotel terms and conditions (AGBH 2006)§ 5 Rescission of the Accommodation Agreement – Cancellation fee / Rescission by the Proprietor5.1 If the Accommodation Agreement provides for a down payment and such down payment hasnot been made by the Party in time, the Proprietor may rescind the Accommodation Agreementwithout granting any grace period.5.2 If the Guest fails to arrive by 6.00 p.m. on the agreed date of arrival, the Proprietor shall notbe obliged to accommodate them unless a later time of arrival has been agreed upon.5.3 If the Party has made a down payment (see 3.3), the rooms shall be deemed reserved until12.00 noon on the day following the date of arrival at the latest. If a down payment to the amo-unt of more than four days has been made, the obligation to accommodate the Guest shall endon 6.00 p.m. on the fourth day, the date of arrival being deemed the first day, unless the Guestinforms the Proprietor of a later date of arrival.5.4 Unless otherwise agreed upon, the Proprietor may rescind the Accommodation Agreementfor objectively justified reasons by means of a unilateral declaration by 3 months before the ag-reed date of arrival of the Party.Rescission by the Party – Cancellation fee5.5 The Party may rescind the Accommodation Agreement by means of a unilateral declarationby 3 months before the agreed date of arrival of the Guest without being liable to pay a cancella-tion fee.5.6 Outside the period specified in § 5.5., the Party may only rescind the Accommodation Agree-ment by means of a unilateral declaration subject to the following cancellation fees:- 40% of the total agreed price by 1 month before the date of arrival;- 70% of the total agreed price by 1 week before the date of arrival;- 90% of the total agreed price within the last week preceding the date of arrival.

Room prices half board/B&BThe prices quoted are basic prices per person and pernight in a standard double room with the relevant board.There is an additional local tax of € 2,40 per person pernight. Children under 15 are not included in the local tax.

Sports skills, from the basic techniques to off-piste guided ski toursArlberg and the ski schools of Lech, Oberlech and Zürs make an outstanding combination. On the one hand, there is the fascina-

tion of an exceptional ski area and, on the other, a range of ski schools which are striving to surpass their guests' expectations.

Over 500 highly qualified snow sports instructors, state approved ski instructors and ski guides will personally look after the pro-

gress, wellbeing and safety of their guests on and off the prepared pistes. From skiing and snowboarding to experiences such as

telemark skiing, snowshoe hiking and, in particular, accompanied ski touring and off-piste skiing or heli-skiing, the ski schools offer

a wide range of activities.

Children from the age of 4½ are taught in groups by professional instructors who specialise in teaching children, and there is a

variety of nursery slopes available for our young guests to use. The range on offer for children and adults includes group and pri-

vate instruction from the first steps on the snow to off-piste experiences away from the prepared pistes.
