Why Learning Technology Program

42% of teachers received six or more hours of basic-skill training, whereas only 29% received curriculum-integration training (Education Week, 1999)

Only 44% of new teachers consider themselves well-prepared to use technology (National Center for Education Statistics, 2001)

Training on “integrating technology into curriculum” has a greater influence on teachers than training on “basic technology skills”
