Multiplication means that you are adding together the same number a specific amount of times.

How to Solve Multiplication Problems
Consider the problems 2 x 3 The first number (2) is how many times you will be adding
together a number, or how many groups there are. The second number (3) is that number that you will be
adding together that amount of times. So, if you add together 2 groups of 3 you get…
