1 Learning about Mental Health across the Ontario Curriculum There are opportunities for students to learn about mental health and emotional well-being across the whole curriculum through direct, planned instruction, indirect instruction and by providing a supportive environment for students to learn. See further information in the preface of all recently revised curricula (2010 onward). This document includes selected examples of curriculum expectations, highlighting sample opportunities for students to learn about mental health in a variety of ways across the curriculum.
