Animal Homes Another name for an animal home is a habitat. Each animal lives where it can find

food, water and protection. Some places are very dry and hot, so animals need to

find some shelter from the sun. Some animals hide below ground from predators.

Some animals need to make their home high up in the trees.

INTERESTING HOMES

Make a

masking tape

road! You can use a car mat, Lego, Duplo, Play

Mobile, toy cars, people and animals with

masking tape roads to make a town. Small

cardboard boxes can be made into

buildings!

You could also add some coloured electrical

tape to mark out crossings, and signs and

add some colour.

You can make street signs, roundabouts

with a tree in the middle, a town with a

shopping centre, police station, a car park, a

playground, a zoo and a farm!

If you have toy planes and trains you can

add an airport and a train station using

some brio train track. Hey! Maybe you can

even add a racing car track, and a building

site!

If you prefer outdoors, why not use some chalk to draw

roads!

!!Don’t leave the tape on carpet for too long- it might leave a mark.
