His dramatic Shino glazes are reminis- cent of geological formations. 17 Liz Lurie - potter 5214 Irish Ridge Rd, Chittenango, NY Liz is a potter who makes functional wood-fired pottery. Her pots are predominantly earth tones, subtle, quiet and meant to celebrate the food and flowers that go in them. 16 Peter Beasecker - potter 5214 Irish Ridge Rd, Chittenango, NY All of Peter’s work is made from high-fired porcelain and stoneware and is predominantly wheel thrown from clay he mixes himself. The actual processes are quite simple and have been developed over his many years of pottery making. 16 Eugen Doering - metal sculptor 4666 Lincklaen Rd, Cazenovia, NY For fifteen years Eugen has been creating one- of-a-kind sculptures in bronze and aluminum. Some are figurative, while many are abstract. Illustrations, designs, books, photography and garden design make up the rest of the portfolio for this multi-talented artist. 6 Wayne Daniels - painter 2 Gillette Lane, Cazenovia, NY Wayne can take an otherwise ordinary subject and by waiting for a certain time of day or just the right light, he can transform the ordinary into something beautiful. 5 Rick Marchant - painter 2 Gillette Lane, Cazenovia, NY The art process to Rick is not a spontaneous event, but rather a deliberate progression of experimenting and rendering. He feels it is important to be familiar with the subject and then apply the necessary effort. 5 Dave Porter - sculptor 46 Sullivan St, Cazenovia, NY Dave's work is largely non-representational or abstract. He creates both two-dimensional and three-dimensional art. The latter include relief and freestanding wood sculptures and goldenrod gall assemblages. 4 Megan Muldoon - painter 57 Albany St (Lillie Bean), Cazenovia, NY Megan works in oil, acrylic and clay. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, Megan's artistic expression explores the object and beyond through the use of color.
