This 11-month matched savings program helps youth learn how to save, plan for their future career, and get enrolled in post-secondary education or trades programs.

• The scholarship program is open to students entering their grade 12 year in the fall.

• Each branch will select one scholarship recipient to work with through the school year.

• Priority is placed on students who are motivated, butmayfacefinancialbarrierstoachievingtheircareer or education goals.

• Helpsstudentsmanagetheirfinances,setgoalsandsave money toward their goals. Students can earn $2 for every $1 saved, up to $100 a month or $1,100 total.

Participants Commit To:

Save between $15 to $50 each month for the duration of the 11-month program*

Be currently employed or have some form of regular paid income

Open a Legacy Financial savings account, if not already established

Provide proof of enrollment in post-secondary or trades training before receiving matched funds
