Students enrolling in this Arabic language and

cultural immersion program will benefit from its

unique approach based on over ten years of

experience and expertise in teaching Arabic to

non-native speakers.

The program is designed to allow students the

opportunity to learn Modern Standard Arabic and

Moroccan Colloquial Arabic, to know Morocco on

a deep level, its history, culture, geography, food

and people.

Following our belief that learning at any stage in

life is an enriching experience, we welcome every

one throughout the world who is interested in

Arabic language and culture, open, flexible and

committed to the total length of the program, to

be part of this linguistic and cultural trip.

Academics

Our faculty consist of highly

experienced teachers, all of whom

certified teachers who have been

specially trained to teach Arabic

language to non-natives.

Our teaching materials consist on very

successful materials, specially

developed for non-native speakers.

It is crucial for students to understand and experience through living abroad cultural differences and diversity.

During 6 weeks, students will have the

opportunity to get an effective Arabic language

learning and participate in activities outside the

classroom, that will lead to greater

comprehension of the Arab culture.

Our teaching method takes full account of the

modern didactics and it is based on the ACTFL

guidelines. We teach according to the

communicative, active, task-based learning

approaches and focuses on all aspects of the

language learning.

Upon your request, ALP can book different kinds of

accommodation for all the length of the program. Different

options are available:

Host family .

Accomodations

Integrating students to the local culture and community is an important component of our program. It focuses on Morocco with an extension on the Arab world.

Our cultural program inccludes an active calendar of social and cultural events on regular intervals:

Guided tours.

Clubs (music, calligraphy, cinema, cooking, dancing, henna …)

Conferences

Festivals and concerts.

One day excursions to visit the neighborhood cities.

3 days/2 nights trip to visit the imperials cities.

Parties at school.

Farewell dinner at the end of the program.

Cultural Activities

Upon your arrival, you will

participate in an orientation program

in order to familiarize you with the

local environment, you will learn

some of the local costumes to help

make your stay in your new city

successful.

Before you arrive:

Pay the acceptance deposit (30% of

the course fee).

Get the acceptance e-mail.

On campus:

Sign the program agreement.

Pay the rest of the program fees

(before the 1st day of the course)

Take the placement test and the

orientation sessions.
