How my design came together.

• My idea came together, by a project we were doing on recycling and that was going to be about how much time it takes for plastic to biodegrade. I wanted to do a big bottle, so I thought very hard and took ideas off people to get one big idea on the sculpture.

The problem I wanted to help with on my sculpture.

• When I found out plastic took 1000 years to biodegrade I was shocked. And that’s what I wanted people to care about, so I tried my hardest to make a good sculpture/design.

Where I would place my sculpture

• I would like to place my sculpture in London by the Thames, next to the London eye.

• I chose to put my sculpture there because there are 1000s of people passing by, and they will see my sculpture.

How it would help

It would help by encouraging people to recycle plastic.

It would inspire people to not throw plastic away, but to use it for other useful things.

It would make more people concerned that it takes 1000 years for plastic to biodegrade.
