Features include: single large pane of toughened safety glass, piano hinges, chrome door handles and window stays. Albany shed orders

Delivery Time:

The delivery time quoted at the time of order is a guide only. Albany’s deliveries department will ring with a delivery date usually three days before, unfortunately it is not possible to give a guaranteed time as this can depend on a number of factors. Any times given by Albany staff will be estimates only. Albany cannot be held responsible for any loss that may result from the delay of delivery.

Access to Garden/Site:

The sections of your building can be as big as 3.0m x 2.4m (10’ x 8’) Please ensure that Albany’s delivery drivers can carry the sections through to the garden without being restricted by overhead obstacles such as timbers above gates or brick archways etc. – remembering that many sections will not go through a normal domestic door or around corners. Albany are unable to take your building over garden fences, walls or garages. If there is not clear access they can only leave the building at the front of the property for yourselves to deal with. Albany will carry your building a maximum of 50m from their vehicle please advise if your base is further away as there may be a delivery surcharge. Delivered only buildings are to the front of the property only.

Positioning of your building:

The size of your building is approximate and does not allow for any roof overhangs. When deciding where to site your building you must allow

sufficient room for the roof and allow access for assembling, maintenance and re-treating of the building. The minimum space required is 300mm (1ft)

all the way around the building although 500mm is preferable. Your base does not have to be larger than the building.

If using bearers or sleepers they must run the opposite way to joists on the buildings floor. Direction of floor joists will vary depending on the size and model of the building. If using slabs the whole area should be paved in order to support the floor. A slab in each corner is not adequate.

If you need to check the length, direction or quantity of bearers you need, exact floor measurements or further advice of any kind please do not hesitate to call their telephone help line on 01536 762085 during office hours.

Whatever base you choose it is imperative that it is firm, flat and level otherwise your building will not fit together properly and will not last as long so please do spend time on the base.

If the base/access does not meet Albany shed’s requirements as set out above, the building will be left for you to assemble or finish with no reduction in cost. A surcharge will be made if Albany Sheds have to return to assemble or finish the building.

Albany recommend a fully slabbed area.
