How is Social Media Being Used?

School administrators are using social media (SM) to establish a professional identity and to positively enhance their professional public image and the image of their educational institution. SM is used as a tool for communication and for making announcements, as well as being used for many academic purposes such as promoting a classroom milestones, learning events, or promotion of students’ conceptual understanding. (Sistek-Chandler, 2017)
