Antimicrobial Each vinyl provides outstanding protection in difficult emergency vehicle environments.Disinfectability Vinyls have been formulated to achieve a superior level of disinfectability using products containing sodium hypochlorite (common household bleach) diluted 1:10.

Cleaning is made easy with EVS’s selection of vinyls and theirprotective finish. While staining and soiling from bodily fluids are common in the harsh environment of ambulances, the manufacturer’ssulfide stain-resistant formulation allows most to be removed using the following method: Step 1: Light Soiling Clean with warm water and liquid cleaner such as Formula 409® Cleaner and Degreaser or an equivalent cleaner with a sponge or soft cloth.

Step 2: Heavy Soiling. Clean with a soft white cloth dampened with lighter fluid (naphtha). Rub gently and rinse with a water- dampened cloth.

Step 3: Bodily Fluid Stains. Clean with a soft white cloth with a solution of household bleach (sodium hypochlorite); 10% bleach, and 90% water. Rub gently then rinse with a water-dampened cloth to remove bleach concentrate.

Our Products have no seams ... therefore, No Migration. What does this mean?

Two government agencies, OSHA and GSA have set

guidelines for the migration of blood-borne pathogens to

EMS personnel and the people they serve. This guideline

recommends the use of seamless construction wherever

the ambulance attendant comes in contact with the

seating product when in use, therefore minimizing the

migration of dangerous pathogens.

Seamless seats and cushions require a special heavy-duty

vinyl. We can assist you to coordinate the color of your

seating vinyl with an upholstery-grade vinyl. This uphol-

stery-grade vinyl is available in cut yardage and is ideal

for covering door panels and cabinet trim.
