Leadership Styles
Is a leader's style of providing direction, implementing plans, andmotivatingpeople
Authoritarian
Paternalistic
Democratic
the leader tells his or her employees what to do and how to do it, without getting their advice
The leader acts as a father figure by taking care of their subordinates as a parent would
the leader includes one or more employees in the decision making process, but the leader normally maintains the final decision making authority
Laissez-faire
Transactional
the leader allows the employees to make the decisions, however, the leader is still responsible for the decisions that are made
ransactional leaders focus their leadership on motivating followers through a system of rewards and punishments.
Transformational
motivates and inspires people to change theirbehaviorsin service of a greater good.
