Leadership Vision “My Hope for the LCMS: The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod has been blessed with a diversity of congregational ministries, pastors, church workers, and lay leaders. And yet that diversity is scrutinized, rendered suspicious by the vying parties, and is eroding our relationships and partnerships with each other. In a time when the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being marginalized by the Society we seek to share it with, it is my solemn hope that we can learn to embrace our diversity, enhance our variety, and share our unity in faith with a world that so desperately needs Jesus. My prayer is that we seek reconciliation, strive to work together, and embrace the unique gifts that each of us brings to the Church.”
