Course Objectives• Develop a personal leadership strategy and tactics to become
the “Ideal Leader” for PetroChina.Ali i di id l d t t t ith t hil h• Align individual and team strategy with corporate philosophy.
• Compare Chinese and American pipeline leadership practices, with an emphasis on best practices.
• Identify the Top Five challenges of pipeline leaders, and develop a plan to meet those challenges.
• Increase awareness of personal leadership style• Increase awareness of personal leadership style, communication style, and learning style.
• Develop a 5 year “Leadership Destination” plan with goals d ti itand action items.

pipeline companies regulatory officials vendors andpipeline companies, regulatory officials, vendors, and trade association officials.

stories and learn how to use stories in an organization.• Identifying our leadership strengths and how to use them• Identifying our leadership strengths and how to use them
in ways that help others, our teams, and ourselves.• An overview of pipeline regulations, and how those affect

program in a large pipeline company.– Meeting the challenges of communication in a diverse and
dispersed pipeline organization.– Building a high performance team.
• Various leadership assessments and inventories for the individual studentsindividual students.
• Professional coaching program will be used.
Course Information• Length of course should be five or six weeks.• Atlanta, Georgia is the location for class.• One week will be spent in Washington, D.C.• No more than ten students per class.• Students should be current or potential managers.
