Leads my team to deliver for customers:

• Know my customers and serve them with pride.

• Role model great service, Making Moments Matter. Celebrate success when my team do the same.

• Coach my colleagues to give excellent service and tackle any issues with poor service immediately.

• Coach my managers to ensure all customer issues are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.

• Act on Customer Viewpoint and Every Comment Helps feedback to win locally and respond to changing customer needs.

• Review the customer loyalty performance of the store and seek ways to improve this.

• Participate in Duty Management, making sure all decisions are right for customers.

• Lead and encourage colleagues to participate in community initiatives, establishing our store as an important part of the local community.

Leads my team to deliver better availability, quality and service by:

• Use my expertise to identify opportunities to improve the Stores Key Performance Indicator’s performance and agree these with my manager.

• Liaise with the team on days to ensure every seasonal, trade driving and promotional event achieves maximum sales, impact and presentation.

• Make sure that all processes and routines for my departments are completed accurately and on time and my managers understand and are coached to deliver them.

• Coach my team to set up and replenish promotional displays and check that merchandise plan conformance is maintained.

• Consult with my managers to make sure that holidays, seasonal events and changes to trading patterns are well planned to minimise the impact on service.

• Provide support and coaching to my managers, helping them to continually improve their own standards.

• Deliver and sustain all Business Plan and change activities on time.

• Make sure that all shrinkage and security routines are completed and that my team are aware and trained in loss prevention.

• Make sure all losses are investigated and plans are in place to lockdown high shrinkage product areas.

• Ensure my team use the Ideal Base Schedule to have colleagues in the right place, at the right time to deliver routines and serve our customers.

• Maintain a legally compliant and safe place to work by ensuring all relevant checks are completed and cold chain is maintained.

Cares about Colleagues:

• Build the capability of my managers , making sure they have received the Operational and Leadership training to do their job.

• Coach managers to lead their teams effectively and make the right decisions to drive trade, service and sales.

• Review my teams performance and provide feedback on what they do well and where improvements need to be made.

• Spot talent, provide mentoring and develop people for their next role.
