Start the Program
Click on the LE3k icon on your desktop
Click on Yes

Login Default User = user
Default password = blank
Check if the Scale is Live
Starting from the main window

From the top menu, click on File ->Import/Export->Ethernet
The Ethernet screen will open.
You can communicate with the scale if the Network Status is Ready

Program PLU
Starting from the main window
From the top menu, click on Database ->PLU

The screen is divided into 2 columns On the left is a list of all the PLU’s. On the right are the details of the selected PLU.
Select "Add New" to create a new PLU.

1. Number: Enter the PLU number. This number can be any number, but has to be unique.2. Import/Export check mark: If this box is unchecked, the PLU will not be transferred while updating the
scale data.3. Name: Product name. To spread out the text over multiple lines, press enter to start a new line.4. Item Code: The Item code will appear in the barcode as the product identifier. Make sure to use the
number that is compatible with your checkout or POS system5. Units: Click on the arrow to use the Unit Mode pull-down to select your pricing unit. Options are:
• Pieces• Kilogram• Pounds• 100 grams
6. Tare: You can automatically deduct the tare weight during the transaction.7. U.price: Enter price per weighting unit8. Cost: If you want the scale to generate profit reports enter the item cost price.9. Nutrition: The drop down list for the Nutritional Facts Table is empty because we did not populate this
field yet. You must set up the Nutritional Facts Table first or come back and link afterwards.

1. Print format: There are many options available. Look for the examples in the owners manual. If set to 0the scale will use the system default

3. Sale Date: Date offset for packed on date (leave at 0 for today’s date)4. Shelf Days: set date offset for best before date

Program Nutritional Facts Table
Starting from the main window

From the top menu, click on Database ->Nutrition

The screen is divided into 2 columns On the left is a list of all the records in the Nutritional Facts Table. On the right are the Nutritional details of the
selected record.
Select the + "Add New" to populate a new record in the Nutritional Facts Table.

Fill out the fields. Please note that some fields are not used in Canada.

Link NFT with PLU Once the Nutritional facts tables are programmed, you must link them with the corresponding PLU.
From the top menu, click on Database ->PLU
In the Basic info tab you can now link the NFT with the PLU in the Nutrition pulldown menu
Click on Ethernet to open transmission screen

Select scale and select Download. Press Execute to download

Starting from the main window

From the top menu, click on Parameter->Spec
Set parameters as desired. (see table below for reference) and check Import/Export box to transmit during communication.

Select Single or Double page mode
There are 2 options to program the speed key layout: 1. Automatically populate the layout by pressing the auto allocation button.

Select the PLU from the list.

Create TMS file and down save on USB key
