On receiving the data and images back in the office, a team of office researchers clean, check and enhance each record.

Using photoshop, a team of image processors individually manipulate and enhance each photo to achieve the desired quality expected by our clients.

LDC DATA IN ACTION

m-spatial provide Orange with c. 1.8million business records - a service called “Local Search & Discovery Engine” (LSDE) - enabling Orange customers to conduct local searches.

LDC’s data is aggregated into this content - representing less than 8% of the total data served. In its first month, LDC data was served in more than 63% of all searches.

In its third month, LDC data was served in more than 75% of all searches.

Access to in-depth rich local content is important in order to provide a high quality user experience for mobile local search. The way The Local Data Company collate business data allows m-spatial to develop and integrate search criteria and features which work for a much wider range of business types than was previously possible using other more vertically focused datasets.

Andy Walker, CEO, m-spatial
