Limagrain Cereales Ingrédients manages a number of plant breeding programmes for

its wheat and maize activities and is also the only market participant that has the

knowledge to be able to adapt tomorrow’s varieties to the expectations of consumers and

manufacturers. Whether developing maize processes and operations dedicated and

specific to manufacturing corn flakes or developing hard wheat options, the selection

programmes are constantly changing.

This approach ensures LCI manages the entire operations locally: the seeds and grains

are produced under contact with members and grains are exclusively processed in the

company’s mills.
