Within the buildings/facilities stock of the local authorities in the mid-west region leisure centres are the highest energy consumers

Some initial initiatives to date on energy efficiency improvements but significant work to do.

KEY OUTPUTS & RESULTS Agreement between the local authorities

Establishment of a Community of Practice, within leisure centre facility/energy managers in the region

Identification of energy efficiency and cost savings (with end of project performance evaluation report)

Increased competence, knowledge and expertise within target group (through deliver of 3 master classes, and demonstrated case study reports)

Designed and performance evaluated programme/good practice with demonstrated results
