Welcome Welcome to LastPass! Your experience with logins and passwords will never be the same! What is LastPass? - It is a web-based, secure database that remembers and manages your login credentials for all the sites and services you use.

Downloading LastPass LastPass itself is a secure website, but you need to install the browser extension to capture the information that you would like LastPass to contain.

1- To download the browser extension, go to: https://lastpass.com/download. 2- Scroll down to the version that is right for you 3- Click Download and follow the prompts

4- To make sure that the browser extension is enabled, follow the directions below: • Internet Explorer – First, you must enable the allowance of third-party extensions, then enable LastPass:

o Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > "Browsing" section > Enable third-party browser extensions > Apply > OK.

o Tools > Manage add-ons > LastPass Toolbar > Enable. • Firefox – Go to Menu icon or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > Enable for LastPass. • Chrome – Go to Chrome://Extensions in your Chrome address bar, then toggle the setting on to enable LastPass. • Safari – Go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions > Enable.

Once the browser extension is properly installed and enabled it will appear in your web browser. This is what is looks like.

Add Last Pass to your Favorites The website for LastPass is www.LastPass.com. Navigate there from your browser and, depending on your browser, add it to you Favorites or your Favorites Bar.

Logging In 1- From the LastPass website, click LOGIN (on the top right of the webpage

2- Enter your Username and Password 3- Click Log In

4- If your company has MFA enabled, enter your code 5- No matter which browser or device you’re using, always login with

the same LastPass account. All data stored in your account will be synced automatically anywhere you login.

You can also LOGIN by clicking the browser extension and the following screen will appear, follow the same steps.

The LastPass Vault Once you are logged into LastPass, you will have access to your “vault”. This is where all of your login credentials for your sites and services are stored. Your vault is a safe place to store passwords, notes, profiles for online shopping, and even documents. And no matter where you work, your vault keeps everything in sync, so you can stay organized and save time. When you first log in, LastPass will offer a quick tour. It is highly recommended to click “Show me around”. This is a very brief tour of the program.

Keeping Your Vault Organized It is very important to keep your LastPass vault organized, so you can easily find things. You should come up with a way to name your sites and secure notes, so they are easy to locate. Make sure you save all your saved data into appropriate folders.

Saving a Site One of the great time-saving benefits of LastPass is that it will remember your credentials for you each ????????. The next time you visit a website login, LastPass prompts you to remember your credentials. Then the next time you go there, it auto fills it for you!

1- Go to a website you frequently use 2- Enter your username and password into the login field 3- Click the LastPass browser icon or the icon may appear in the fields you are entering 4- If you click the LP browser icon, the following options appear 5- Confirm site details and click “Save Credentials for

this Site”. The next time you visit the same website to login, LastPass will enter the saved account information for you. If you logged in and did none of the above, don’t worry. LastPass can still capture your information. The green bar above (at the top of the browser) is asking if you would like LastPass to remember your login information. Simply click SAVE SITE and now LastPass has your information.

Creating Folders You can create new folders to save similar items together within that folder. To create a folder is very simple. Once you are in your Vault:

1- Click the + on the bottom right-hand corner

2- Select ADD NEW FOLDER 3- You can also go here to manually enter Sites (website logins) and

Secure Notes (Email accounts, Credit Cards, etc.) 4- Enter the NAME of the new folder 5- It can be added as a SUB-FOLDER to any existing folders 6- To add it as a subfolder, check the ADD AS A SUBFOLDER UNDER

box and select the main folder from the drop-down list 7- Click SAVE

Saving to a Folder When creating a new Secure Note or Site, in the form fields, there is a drop-down menu, where you can select what folder to save your Note or Site in. Simply select it from the drop menu and click SAVE. Make sure you save all your saved data into appropriate folders.

Add a Form Fill Save time when you order online and sign up for new services with Form Fill Profiles and Credit Cards

1- Click the LastPass browser extension 2- Click FORM FILLS 3- Click ADD PROFILE

4- Enter your contact details, address, and payment information, etc. and click OK.

5- The next time you want to fill out a form on a website, click the LP browser icon. 6- Select the profile you want to use and and select FILL FORM.

7- The form is instantly filled in for you.

8- You can follow the same steps to enter and save your credit card information. Just choose Add Credit Card in step 3, instead of Profile.

Secure Notes LastPass can also store information you need to keep secure and accessible, whether it’s a WiFi network login, a PIN code, or a copy of your insurance card.

1- Click the LastPass browser icon extension 2- Click SECURE NOTES 3- Click ADD SECURE NOTE

4- Choose a Note Type (Email, Generic, Bank Account, Credit Card, etc.) 5- Fill out your information and click OK.

Tip: Use the attachments feature (paper clip icon) to encrypt and backup documents, PDFs, and images.

Generating a Password Having a unique, strong password that is randomly generated is preferred for safeguarding your online accounts and protecting your identity. As you sign up for accounts, LastPass can generate random passwords for you.

1- Click the LastPass browser icon extension 2- Click GENERATE SECURE PASSWORD

3- Select ACCEPT

Updating Passwords Whether you have old passwords that need updating or a service you use was hacked and requires a password change, LastPass has the tools to help you replace weak or compromised passwords with new ones.

1- Login to the account you need to update and find the change password option 2- Enter your old password 3- Click the generate field icon to create a new password 4- Approve the password change in LastPass 5- Submit the password change to the website 6- Next time you need to login, LastPass will autofill the new password for you.

3- Launch your Account Settings in the bottom left hand corner.

4- Click the Multifactor Options tab 5- Choose a multifactor authentication option that is right for you

6- Complete the steps to enable multifactor authentication 7- The next time you login to LastPass, you will be prompted to complete your multifactor authentication step

before you can access your vault.
