LASALLIAN LEADERSHIP AWARD

Named after St. John Baptist de La Salle, the founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and patron saint of teachers, this scholarship opportunity is part of a cooperative effort to continually improve the quality and scope of the Lasallian tradition at Manhattan College.

Recipients of this award are expected to become leaders on campus who actively participate in service projects through Manhattan College’s various Lasallian groups and organizations. Some of the past recipients of the award have joined the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Student Ambassadors group on campus while others have taken a service-immersion trip with the Lasallian Outreach Volunteer Experience (L.O.V.E.). Whether your passion is community service, discussing social justice issues, or influencing peers with your knowledge of St. John Baptist De la Salle, we welcome you to bring your unique Lasallian experience to life as a Jasper.
