All the Mendoza Staff are happy to see our families again. We missed you this summer. Our construcon woes are nearly over. The crews are finishing a few final details. Our new building is completed and it is amazing. If you didnt tour the building during Meet and Greet, please come see it during Open House. The parking lot is also finished! The field has been newly planted and will be open to students at the end of September. The rehab of the main building has been completed. Mendoza is brand new and ready for kids. Welcome back! Mendoza community are commied to increasing individual student academic achievement and providing opportuni- es to become independent thinkers, learners, and responsible Clark County School District Regulaon 5113Aendance Aendance enforcement is a shared responsibility between CCSD and the students parent or legal guardian. The parent, legal guardian, or other person in the state of Nevada having control or charge of any student is required to send the student to school during all mes that the public school is in session (NRS 392.040). The CCSD requires that all students enrolled for school in CCSD aend school regularly in accordance with the Nevada Revised Statutes. Each student is expected to aend school for the enre day. An elementary student shall be recorded as absent for half of the day if more than one hour and fiſty-five minutes of the instrucon- al day are missed and recorded as absent for the enre day if more than three hours and forty-five minutes of the instruconal day are missed.The Clark County School District expects that schools must aain a standard of 90 % aendance. Individual student absences should be limited to a maximum of twenty total absences per school year. Elementary students who exceed twenty absences during the school year may be retained in the current grade. Attendance “Attendance enforcement is a shared responsibility between CCSD

and the student’s parent or legal guardian. The parent, legal guardian, or other person in the state of Nevada having control or

charge of any student is required to send the student to school during all times that the public school is in session (NRS 392.040).

The CCSD requires that all students enrolled for school in CCSD attend school regularly in accordance with the Nevada Revised

El “Córner” de la Sra. Christensen: ¡Bienvenidos de regreso a Mendoza ES! Todo el personal de Mendoza esta contento de ver a nuestras familias de nuevo. Los extrañamos durante el verano. Nuestros problemas por construcción están por terminar. Los trabajadores están terminando algunos detalles finales. Nuestro nuevo edificio está terminado y es increíble. Si no recorriste el edificio durante Meet and Greet, ven a verlo durante Open House. ¡El estaciona-miento también está terminado! El jardín ha sido recién plantado y estará abierto a estudiantes a fines de septiembre. La rehabilita-ción del edificio principal se ha completado. Mendoza es completamente nueva y está lista para niños. ¡Bienvenidos de nuevo!

Reglamento del CCSD 5113 - Asistencia

“El cumplimiento de la asistencia es una responsabilidad compartida entre el CCSD y el padre o tutor legal del estudiante. El padre, tutor legal u otra persona en el estado de Nevada que tenga el control o cargo de cualquier estudiante debe enviar al estudiante a la escuela durante todo el tiempo que la escuela pública esté en sesión (NRS 392.040). El CCSD requiere que todos los estudiantes inscritos en la escuela en el CCSD asistan a la escuela regularmente de acuerdo con los Estatutos Revisados de Nevada. Se espera que cada estudiante asista a la escuela durante todo el día. " “Un estudiante de primaria se registrará como ausente por la mitad del día si se pierden más de una hora y cincuenta y cinco minutos del día de instrucción y se registra como ausente por todo el día si son más de tres horas y cuarenta y cinco minutos del día de instrucción se pierden ".

El Distrito Escolar del Condado de Clark espera que las escuelas deban alcanzar un estándar de asistencia del 90%. Las ausencias individuales de los estudiantes deben limitarse a un máximo de veinte ausencias totales por año escolar. Los estudiantes de primaria que superen las veinte ausencias durante el año escolar pueden ser retenidos en el grado actual.

De acuerdo con el Departamento de Educación de NV, se considera que un estudiante está ausente de manera crónica si pierde el 10% o más del año escolar

Todas las ausencias dispuestas en exceso de 10 serán consideradas injustificadas

Todas las ausencias donde el trabajo de maquillaje no se completó en el tiempo especificado se considerarán injustificadas

Si un estudiante ha sido declarado ausente tres veces por ausencias no aprobadas, deberá ser reportado a la policía escolar o a la policía local.

El estado de Nevada no distingue entre ausentismo debido a una acción del estudiante o la de un padre / tutor legal La escuela y las familias son socios. Estamos en esto juntos para ayudar a los estudiantes a aprender el material necesa-rio. Si necesita ayuda para llevar a su estudiante a la escuela todos los días y a tiempo, háganoslo saber.
