Roberto, un publicista en paro, es rechazado por todas las agencias en las que solicita trabajo. Su situación económica es desesperada. Ya nadie valora que fuera el creador del archiconocido slogan “la chispa de la vida” de Coca-Cola. Todo cambia cuando de pronto sufre un accidente que le hace debatirse entre la vida y la muerte. Queda atrapado de tal forma que ni el Samur, ni los bomberos, ni siquiera los médicos se ponen de acuerdo en cómo rescatarlo. Lo absurdo y dramático del suceso provoca el interés de los medios de comunicación. El protagonista decide aprovechar su experiencia como publicista para explotar la situación, convirtiéndola en un espectáculo mediático. Para ello contrata a un representante. La idea es simple: Vender la exclusiva a las televisiones y solucionar para siempre el futuro de su familia. Luisa, su mujer, llega al lugar del accidente y asiste impotente al espectáculo que se ha generado alrededor de su marido. Intenta convencerle de que desista de su idea, pero la obsesión de Roberto por conseguir la exclusiva es cada vez mayor. Sin embargo, las negociaciones con las televisiones se eternizan, los intereses afloran y el rescate se complica. ¿Conseguirá el protagonista salvar su vida? ¿Preferirá dar la vida a cambio del dinero?

where he applies for work. His economic situation is desperate. No one cares now that he created the Coca Cola slogan, “It's the real thing.” All this changes when he has an accident that leaves him hanging by a thread between life and death. He's trapped in such a way that the emergency rescue services, firemen and medics cannot agree on how to rescue him. The accident is absurd and dramatic, and attracts the attention of the media hounds. Roberto decides to exploit his PR experience to turn the situation into a media event. He hires an agent and simply orders him to sell exclusive coverage to the television networks so that his family is set up for the rest of their lives. Luisa, his wife, arrives on the scene of the accident and stands helplessly on the sidelines of the circus that developed around her husband. She tries to convince Roberto not to go on with his idea, but he becomes more and more obsessed with selling the exclusive as time passes. However, the negotiations with the networks drag on interminably and with each person's selfish interests at the forefront of their concerns, the rescue becomes increasingly complicated. Will Roberto be saved? Or will he forfeit his life for money?

Álex y Virginia, una pareja con planes de boda, deciden comprar un piso sobre plano a las afueras de una gran ciudad. Reúnen todos sus ahorros para pagar la entrada, más una hipoteca a cuarenta años. Cuando tan sólo faltan unos meses para la entrega de los pisos, paran las obras y precintan la zona. Álex quiere una solución y hará lo que sea para conseguir su casa y tener la vida que siempre había soñado.

Alex and Virginia decide to buy an apartment outside of the city center, where living is more affordable. They close a deal with a building company that promises to deliver a nice flat in a mere few months. The couple pays a small advance, and sign up for a forty-year mortgage. Days go by and the time to move into the new apartment quickly approaches, but the building is still in construction, while as the couple is forced to leave the flat they are currently renting. The two move in with Virginia's parents... It is then that they discover they've been lied to: the building is being constructed over protected land, the license given to the contructing company is a fraud, and thus the authorities fence the area and interrupt the works.

Meritxell´s story involves the audience in her journey, departing from Alhambra and getting to other cinemas in Argentina, to the end of the world. She wants to discover where the cinematographic images go when these cinemas disappear and if cinema, seen as a social meeting event, is either dying, transforming or is created a new.

Fortunio Bonanova, es el actor español que más películas ha realizado en Hollywood. Amigo personal de Orson Welles, "Citizen Bonanova", es la historia de una de las leyendas más desconocidas del cine español.

“Citizen Bonanova” is about the life of Fortunio Bonanova from the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, the Spanish actor holding the record number of films made in Hollywood. A close friend of Orson Welles, “Citizen Bonanova” is the story of one of the greatest legends most unknown to Spanish cinema. Although practically unknown in his native land, starting in the 1920s he spent the greatest part of his professional career in the United States, where he went after working under the Baños brothers in the silent film “Don Juan Tenorio”. His filmography is made up of more than 80 films shot in the United States, among them Orson Welles’ “Citizen Kane”, Billy Wilder's “Double Indemnity” and “Five Graves to Cairo”, and John Ford’s “The Fugitive”. Bonanova returns to Spain in 1962 to work under director Jesús Franco in “La

El cónsul de Burdeos narra la historia (aun bastante desconocida en Israel) de cómo un hombre ayudó a salvar la vida de más de 30.000 refugiados durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, más de un tercio de ellos eran Judíos. Desobedeciendo las órdenes de Salazar, Sousa Mendes emitió visados ••a quienes los necesitaban, "independientemente de la religión, nacionalidad, raza o condición", para poder cruzar la frontera franco-española hacia Portugal. Al no seguir las órdenes de sus superiores y actuar según su conciencia, Sousa Mendes pagó un alto precio: la perdida de su trabajo y la posibilidad de mantener a su numerosa familia. Murió en la pobreza en 1954.

The Consul of Bordeaux tells the true story (still vastly unknown in Israel) of how one man helped save the lives of more than 30,000 refugees during World War II; more than one third of them were Jews. Disobeying Salazar's orders, Sousa Mendes issued visas to all those that were in need of them, "regardless of religion, nationality, race, and situation", thus allowing them to cross the French-Spanish border in transit to Portugal. By acting according to his conscience and not according to the orders of his superiors he paid a heavy price: he lost his career and the ability to provide for his large family. He died in poverty in 1954.

Copito de Nieve, el único gorila blanco del mundo, llega al Zoo de Barcelona. El cuaderno de barro es un documental de Isaki Lacuesta concebido en colaboración con el pintor Miquel Barceló. Hace más de veinte años que el artista español vive largas temporadas en África. Allí aprendió a pintar entre termitas y escorpiones, antes de que el calor seque la pintura y el viento arrastre las telas. En lo alto del acantilado de Bandiagara, Barceló representa junto al coreógrafo Josef Nadj la 'performance' Paso Doble y nos descubre por primera vez los secretos de su taller africano.

The Clay Diaries is a documental film by Isaki Lacuesta designed in collaboration with the painter Miquel Barceló. For over twenty years the painter Miquel Barceló has spent long periods in Africa. There he learned to paint amidst termites and scorpions, before the heat dried the paint and the wind blew away his canvases. At the top of the Bandiagara cliff, Barceló and the choreographer Josef Nadj put on the performance Paso Doble and for the first time he reveals the secrets of his African studio.

"Danza a los Espíritus" es un creativo documental filmado en Nsola, un pueblo Evuzok en la selva de Camerún. Sus habitantes sufren principalmente de dos tipos de enfermedades: las "naturales" y las causadas por la brujería. Esta es la historia de Mba Owona Pierre, el "curandero" que se ocupa de las enfermedades provenientes del mundo de la noche. La Danza a los Espíritus es su ritual de curación más importante. Lo vemos en su vida cotidiana, la práctica de sus tratamientos y escribir sus pensamientos acerca de la modernidad, la religión o la medicina. Tenemos el retrato de un personaje extraordinario y un homenaje a la cultura Evuzok.

DANCE TO THE SPIRITS is a creative documentary shot in Nsola, an Evuzok village in the Cameroon jungle. To his habitants there are two kinds of diseases: the natural ones and the ones caused by sorcery. This is the story of Mba Owona Pierre, the healer who handles the sicknesses coming from the night world. The dance to the spirits is his most important healing ritual. We see him in his daily life, practicing his treatments and writing down his thoughts about modernity, religion or medicine. Weve got the portrait of an extraordinary character and a tribute to Evuzok culture.

En Génova 2001 el enfrentamiento entre el Estado y los movimientos sociales dejó ver la verdadera naturaleza del poder. La represión policial fue la respuesta a la más numerosa protesta que se había vivido hasta el momento. Trescientos mil manifestantes vieron de frente el lado más violento de la democracia. A partir de imágenes de estos acontecimientos, tomadas de las más diversas fuentes, se reflexiona de manera general sobre la democracia, el poder y sus símbolos, el papel de los medios de comunicación, la violencia..., al tiempo que se plantea una reflexión sobre el lenguaje cinematográfico y sus posibilidades.

In Geneve 2001 the confrontation between the State and the social movements unraveled the true nature of power. The police crackdown was the response to the largest protest lived so far. Toni, 45 años, muere atropellado en un camino, a las afueras de un pueblo de La Mancha. Su padre, Antonio, 70 años, policía jubilado, acude para hacerse cargo del cadáver. Toni, 45, is run over and killed on a road on the outskirts of a town in La Mancha. His father, seventy-year-old Antonio, a retired policeman, arrives to take charge of the body. Doentes cuenta la historia de Valeriano y Cañete, dos personajes marcados que se complementan y retroalimentan en un escenario único, la Compostela de los años cincuenta. El desmantelamiento del viejo Hospital Real para transformarlo en un hotel de lujo llena las calles de Santiago de Compostela de enfermos, peregrinos perpetuos y pobres. Ocurre que la noche es negra, como el futuro, como el corazón de los hombres, como el país, y se vuelve larga, larguísima. Así, una noche de apacible vagabundeo se convierte en una loca carrera por la supervivencia de dos extraños amigados por el dolor que, al no poder cambiar el mundo, por mucho que lo intentan, luchan, por lo menos, con todas sus fuerzas, por llegar a verlo, otra vez, mañana.

Patients tells the story of Valeriano and Cañete, two larger-than-life characters that complement and feed off each other in a unique setting - Compostela in the Fifties. The demolishing of the old Royal Infirmary to turn it into a luxury hotel fills the streets of Santiago de Compostela with patients, perpetual pilgrims and the poor. Therefore, a placid evening of wandering becomes a mad race for the survival of the two estranged friends in the agony of not being able to change the world, as much as they try; fighting with all their might to see it again tomorrow.

Ramón Vinyes (1882-1952) fue dramaturgo, periodista, conferenciante, librero, creador de revistas literarias, profesor y mentor de jóvenes artistas, entre los cuales Gabriel García Márquez que le rindió homenaje por medio del personaje del “sabio catalán” en Cien años de soledad. Aunque vivió 25 años en Colombia y que este país le brindó un reconocimiento que Cataluña se negaba a darle, se sintió dividido entre dos idiomas, dos países y dos maneras de entender la vida y el arte.

Ramón Vinyes (1882-1952) was a writer, journalist, teacher and mentor of young artists, among them Gabriel García Márquez who paid tribute to him thanks to the “catalan wise man” character in One hundred years of solitude. Three long stays (25 years) in Colombia determined the course of his life. Although Colombia gave him recognition Catalonia refused to give him, he felt torn between two languages, two countries and two ways of understanding life and art.

He is mysteriously trapped in his own car and misses the once in a lifetime opportunity to finally present this invention to the world and his life is suddenly embargoed…

A multidisciplinary paranormal research group arrives at an apartment where all sorts of strange phenomena are taking place: unanswered phone calls, objects that move about by themselves, sounds of unknown origin and lamps that explode for no apparent reason. A feature-length documentary about the Moro Studios, focusing on the life and work of the Moro brothers, pioneers of animation advertising since the end of the Forties and the time they turned professional with the founding of the Moro Studios from 1955 onwards. The brothers specialised in cartoon advertising, stop motion and puppets, though a large part of their output also used real images. En un futuro próximo en el que los seres humanos viven junto a criaturas mecánicas, Alex, un reputado ingeniero cibernético, regresa a Santa Irene con el encargo de la Facultad de Robótica de crear un niño robot.
