We have prescribed a complete work-over for our main establishment this year and have added a few highlights as well. THE NEW LANSERHOF LANS

Body, mind and heart experience new energy when people return to harmony. To an internal and external balance. For this reason, Lanserhof has been doing everything in its power over three decades to create a place to foster this healing and harmony.

We have also directed the architectural renewal and extension to our establishment in 2016 towards this principle. The beauty of nature, exclusive com-fort and cutting-edge technology, architecturally linked to space for regeneration, which provides the focus for atmospheric stimuli and stimulates harmonising forces. This extended resort will be open to you as a special retreat from 2017.

In addition to the renovation of the existing build-ing, we have built a new guest house featuring six- teen suites, a relaxation zone and an indoor and

outdoorsalt water swimming pool and additional treatment rooms. Built according to a sustainability concept for green building, and designed using the latest knowledge in construction and space psychology. Sensitively integrated into the stunning natural panorama of the Tyrolean Alps.

CRYOTHERAPY AT LANSERHOF

The soothing and healing power of the extreme cold was systematically tested for the first time in Japan in the 1980s. The successes in the cryotherapy chamber led to its recognition as a highly effective form of passive physical short-term therapy.

RECOMMENDED USE

2-3 sessions per day for a maximum of 3 minutes each, over a period of between 14 days and 4 weeks. Cost per session: €€48

Rheumatic diseases, arthritis, spinal disorders, chronic pain, blunt injuries to joints, joint or spinal conditions after surgery, skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis, insomnia, increased stress

The body's short-term exposure to a temperature of -110°C blocks its sensitivity to pain and also acts anti-inflammatory. What is referred to as pain memory, which chronic pain can serve to over-activate, experiences breaks caused by the strong analgesic effect, which also promotes its re-regulation.

The positive effects of applying cold can sometimes be felt after just one treatment. Most patients report a noticeable improvement

after some 14 days. The improvement can persist for up to six months.

The performance-enhancing effect of whole-body cryotherapy is caused by the redistribution of the blood in the body: The effect of the cold forces the blood from the skin into the body, causing a better supply of blood to the muscles. ROOMS AND APARTMENTS

Colours, shapes and materials – nature produces the most functional designs and harmonious colours. We have used these as our model at Lanserhof. Our single and double rooms are furnished according to biological criteria: they offer you an indoor climate as free of electrosmog as the adjacent forest.

Our single and double rooms are furnished with precious walnut furniture and oak parquet flooring in a harmonious colour scheme. The apartments are individually decorated. We will be happy to advise you further. The price for accommodation includes a diet personalised to your needs including all herbal teas and mineral water. We charge an additional € 30 per day/person for LANS Energy Cuisine Detox Regenerate. We charge € 40 per person/day for our full-board LANS Energy Cuisine Sport arrangement. You can use the indoor and outdoor salt water swimming pool, sauna, saunarium, Turkish bath, gym and mountain bike station free of charge.

Prices are quoted per person/night and are only valid in conjunction with the LANS Med Basic

or LANS Med Sport Active packages. Our diagnosis and therapy programme runs weekly,

beginning on Sunday. We recommend a 14-day stay, the minimum stay being seven nights.

Located on the upper floors of our new building, our suites offer you the perfect atmosphere and furnishings for starting your regeneration programme. Light-filled, spacious, soothingly minimalistic in design and furnished in natural, sensual materials.

The special highlight: Take a few steps and you are standing on your private rooftop. You do not just get to enjoy the fantastic view here, but also as much sun as you like. It's the perfect retreat for focussing on yourself and your stay.

Another direct entrance leads you to our new sauna and pool area in the lower part bottom of the house. Allowing you to take the shortest possible route to reach our newly created wellness area. So you can swim a few leisurely lengths of our indoor/outdoor pool in the morning if you so wish.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

We would appreciate it if you would arrive on Sundays no later than 5 p.m. Your room is available from 3 p.m. We would like to ask you to check out by 11 a.m. on your day of departure. We charge 50 % for room occupation (arrival) before 12 noon, and room use (departure) up until 5 p.m. (subject to availability).

TAXI

We will be glad to arrange transfers from Innsbruck Airport (€ 30) or the train station (€ 25) on request.

PAYMENT TERMS

You will receive an invoice for the total amount payable for all the services you have booked at the end of your stay. We accept all credit cards and debit cards. Please transfer the deposit to guarantee your reservation to the following account: IBAN AT773600000001042399, BIC RZTIAT 22.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Accommodation and medical treatments for young people aged 16 years or older is possible only where they are accompanied by their parents.

WAITING LIST

In the event that we cannot fill your reservation on a particular arrival date, do not despair – all is not lost. We will add you to the waiting list in the order in which reservations are received. If a guest happens to cancel, you can take their place.

PETS

We cannot accommodate cats and dogs for reasons of hygiene, health department regulations and the increased instance of allergies.

REIMBURSEMENT OF TREATMENT COSTS

The coverage of costs by your private health insurer is subject to the respective terms and conditions of your insurance company and your selected tariff. We will be happy to prepare a summary of medical services provided, containing all the information you need for submission to your insurance company for reimbursement purposes. We charge € 50 for the preparation of a detailed doctor's report. However, we cannot provide a guarantee of any kind that your costs will actually be reimbursed.

CANCELLATION TERMS

We charge a cancellation fee of 50 % of the accommodation costs for room reservations not cancelled four weeks prior to arrival. Cancellations 1 week beforehand incur a fee of 100 %. We regret that we are unable to provide a price reduction in the case of early departure or late arrival.

MINIMUM PERIOD OF STAY

Our experience has shown us that a minimum stay of seven nights is required to achieve serious medically therapeutic success. Your stay can only be arranged in combination with the LANS Med Basic or LANS Med Sport Active packages.
