Language Paper

Languages are spoken all over the word, and there are many different languages

depending on the country or continents you live in. at home at always speaks Spanish

but that is because neither my mom nor my dad know how to speak English. For my dad

that is the only language, but for my mom she knows Italian. At school I most often

speak Spanish because that is the language I most use with my friends, but obviously

with my teachers I talk to them in English or sometimes in Spanish to some friends who

don’t know Spanish. I think my speaking skills are better than my written skills since

obviously I talk more than what I write and since I don’t like to write, and I like to talk

I’m a better speaker then a writer, I have learned another language at school because

what most of us speak is Spanish and English and I know those two languages already

from long time ago. I think next I want to learn either Italian or maybe French. This

summer I went to Europe and I was hearing French while I was in France and it was

pretty interesting to hear and not get anything and I thought of trying to learn how to

speak another language. Also in Italy Italian was a little awkward to me although my

grandparents are Italian and I hear them talking in Italian always. I don’t mix any

languages, because I know English and Spanish very well, so when it’s time to talk

English I just talk English, and when it’s time to talk in Spanish, that is my native

language so that is what is mostly talk I really don’t like to read but when it’s time to

read I read in English, I think I have never even started to read a novel in Spanish, so I

read in English but just when its necessary. I have all my computers, ipad, ipod, PS3, and

Smartphone all in English, I just feel more comfortable playing with electronics in English

so that’s why I choose this. Also I watch movies in English because I think this will

improve my language but also because most movies are recorded and done in English so

it’s better to watch a movie in the language it’s recorded because that may it’s the

original and the lips match what the characters are saying.
