Behavioural objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:1. Write a poem about their hobby by substituting their own hobby into the model poem provided by teacher. 2. Present their poem in front of the class orally.
Previous knowledge: Pupils know to write words and construct simple phrases.

Possible questions:1. When do you usually do your hobby?2. Why do you like it?3. Where did you learn to....... (Their hobby)?4. Teacher gives colour paper to the pupils.5. Pupils write down one of their hobby in that paper.6. Teacher draw lot pupils name.7. Chosen pupils need to come in front and say out loud about their hobby.8. Teacher writes down pupils answer.9. Teacher asks questions about pupils hobby.10. Teacher shows a jazz chant to the pupils.11. Teacher and pupils chanting the jazz chant together while clapping their hands.12. INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY
1. Teacher gives a blank sheet of paper to each pupil.2. Pupils create a jazz chant by substituting some of the words in the jazz chant.3. If they have finished creating, they need to decorate their jazz chants.4. Teacher gives only 10 minutes. 1. To develop their writing skill. 2. To make them able to write words in neat legible print.3. To test whether they have understand what they have learn during pre-writing.Materials:1. Blank sheet of paper.
Feedback(15 minutes)
Whose jazz chant is the prettiest?
WHOLE CLASS ACTIVITY1. Each group choose the prettiest piece to be a representative.2. Teacher asks the chosen pupils to come in front.3. Pupils read their jazz chant.4. After that teacher paste their work on whiteboard.5. Teacher asks pupils to get ready with a pencil.6. Pupils vote for the prettiest jazz chant.7. Teacher count until 10 and pupils sit back at their own place.8. Teacher announces the winner and gives a gift to the pupils.1. To develop speaking skills.2. To make pupils proud of their own work.3. To teach pupils to appreciate other peoples work. Precaution:1. Pupils maybe out of control so counting down will help to control the class.
