With an ease of access and wonderful peak scenery, Langtang valley tends to be more striking. At the start Langtang valley trekking will take you through the sub-tropical forest, followed by a thick forest of pine, oak, birch, rhododendron etc. prior to the valley opening out into alpine pasture and yak meadows. DAY 01: ARRIVAL KATHMANDU (1400M.)After you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport and afterward s/he will transfer you to hotel. You will be in brief described about your tour and check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is all yours and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 02: KATHMANDUToday you see the sights around Kathmandu valley which includes visit around historical and spiritual attractions; including Durbar Squares at Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. Bauddhanath, another destination is one of the largest stupas in Nepal. And, Swayambhunath situated top on the hill in the city knows as the Monkey Temple. Also, you will visit Pashupatinath, Hindus holy place. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 03: KATHMANDU - SYABRUBESI (2000M.)After Breakfast we drive for 6-7 hrs from Kathmandu to reach to Syabrubesi all the way through the Bhotekoshi River bank. Also, you will see number of villages and striking ranges of mountains. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli River you hold a view of Ganesh Himal and lush hills. Overnight at trekker’s lodge.

DAY 04: SYABRU - LAMA HOTEL (2748M.)We pass through the edge on Syabrubesi main road and arrive at suspension bridge above the Bhote Koshi which lies to the north of the intersection with Langtang Khola. Dense forest with a diversity of plant species like maple, oaks, alder, bamboo etc. comes on our way. Also, you may spot yellow-throated martin, langur monkey, wild boar, Himalayan black bear and other animals. Moving further, the path crosses a river and a bridge. As we keep on ascending along the track, we again cross a steel suspension bridge (2000 m.) above the Langrang Khola. The path further moves ahead to the north shore of the Langtang Khola along with the stunning vistas of waterfalls. We then, arrive at Changtang commonly known as Lama Hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Syabrubesi.

DAY 05: LAMA HOTEL - LANGTANG VALLEY (3500M.)

Trekking from Lama Hotel to Langtang (3430m.) after breakfast it takes about five hours. Walking for about 2 hours on the way we reach at Ghora Tabela, a small town with trekker’s lodge, shops, police checkpoint and more. Again, we pass through Tamang Villages where we can see Tibetan- style prayer flags and prayer wheels. Also, we will be enthralled by the stunning views of the Langtang range on the way. Then, you will arrive at Langtang Village, headquarter of Langtang National Park. Overnight at Trekkers Lodge.

DAY 06: LANGTANG VALLEY - KYAGJIN (3800M.)Our route today gradually moves ahead through rich yak meadows and attractive long-established villages of Muna to Singdun. We come across a wooden beam bridge and arrive at a wide valley after ascending a moraine. Finally, climbing along the peak passes we arrive at Kyagjin Gompa where you can see a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. Overnight at Trekkers Lodge.

DAY 07: KYAGJIN REST DAYTo be accustomed with the environment, we have a rest day today at the glaciated valley of Kyagjin which lies on the lap of Langtang Lirung and is bordered by snowy peaks which is recognized as the world’s closest settlements to glacier. Overnight in Kyagji.

DAY 08: KYAGJIN - LAMA HOTEL (2748M.)From Kyagjin, we trek back to Lama Hotel today walking along the same route following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and then to Ghora Tabela. After having our lunch, we continue trekking and take a way that vertically descent to Lama Hotel.

DAY 09: LAMA HOTEL – SYABRUBESI (2000M.)It takes about 5 hours to reach Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel. The upper part of the trail is more eye-catching for the stunning view of mountains and lush hills. This lane is extended through the different Sherpa and Tamang villages. The first half of the moves slowly down and then abruptly declines to the Syabrubesi (1600m.).

DAY 10: SYABRUBESI – KATHMANDUtravelling for about 8 hours from Syabrubesi, we reach to Kathmandu. We experience an enjoyable drive back to Kathmandu with spectacular views of hills, terraces, mountains, villages and more. Tonight at hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 11: KATHMANDUToday is free day on your own in Kathmandu, there will be chances of flight cancel or delay by the weather so we need keep one extra day as reserve.

DAY 12: DEPARTUREOur airport representative will take you to the airport for your way back your country.

CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENTSCertain basic trekking equipment is essential on all routes we described in this site. Depending on the area and season, we will provide you with a comprehensive list of necessities. Here is some recommended Equipments List for trekking in Nepal.

CLOTHING1. BOOTSLightweight walking boots. If new one is being bought, “walk then in” to avoid blisters. Also bring spare laces.

2. TRACK SHOESA pair of track shoes. To wear in the camp at night or when the boot is wet.

3. JACKETWarm jacket. Fiber fills or down should be adequate. This is especially necessary during winter from December to February. A rainproof jacket with hood or a poncho. Get the one that is guaranteed waterproof.

4. SHIRT AND SWEATERSWoolen shirts and thick sweaters. During winter months, December through February these items are essential. Thick sweaters can be purchased in Kathmandu. 1 lightweight long sleeved -shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sun burn.

5. TROUSERSA pair of lightweight/ heavy weight trousers. Jeans are unsuitable to wear on treks. Cheap loose cotton pants are available in Kathmandu. Heavyweight trousers are useful higher up in the mountains in the morning and at night. Windproof/ waterproof trousers are necessary on all treks going above 10.00ft.

6. UNDERWEARThermal underwear. These are excellent to sleep in at night in the winter months thermal underwear are quite invaluable.

7. TRACKSUITA tracksuit useful for wearing in camp and in the tent. 2 pair of loose fitting long shorts/ skirts.

8. SLEEPING BAGAs you do not carry it yourself this may be synthetic or down, but it must be 4 season. As most treks pass through a variety of climatic conditions, a long zip is a good idea. A cotton/fleece liner helps keep your sleeping bag clean. Good sleeping bags are expensive but can be rented easily in Kathmandu (Only for treks starting and finishing there)

9. SUN HAT, SUNCREAM/BLOCK & LIP SALVEChoose a high factor suncream (Factor 20 or stronger) to protect your skin against the sun at high altitude. A combination sunblock/lip salve is ideal for facial protection.

10. PERSONAL FIRST AID KITYou should have your own supply of plasters, aspirin, diarrhea tablets and also a comprehensive blister kit. (Please do not give medicines to local people without consulting the trek leader.)

11. HAT/ GLOVE/ SANDLE/ SHOCKS/ UNDERWEARa) A woolen hat to wear in the morning and at night. During winter it is an essential item.

b) A sunhat and ensure it has a wide brim to cover the face and neck.

b) A pair of gloves. Leather with lining and woolen are best. c) 1 pair of sandals to wear in the cities and in camp.

d) 4 pairs of thin and 4 pair of thick woolen socks.

e) Underwear” normal quantity and swimming costume, hankies.

Equipments and Accessories

a) Duffle bag or kit bag to carry to gear while trekking

b) Daypack: This is a small rucksack to carry personal requirement for the day e.g. toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc.

c) Water bottle.

d) Snow glasses and sunglasses

e) 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones.

f) 6 -10 smaller plastic bags to dispose garbage.

g) Wallet and /or money belt with compartment for coins.

h) Toiletries with large and small towels. Toilet paper can buy in Kathmandu and some villages in the mountains.

i) Small headlamp and/ or torch with spare batteries and bulbs

j) candles and lighter to burn toilet paper.

k) Snow gaiters essential during wither and all treks going over at other times.

l) An umbrella (optional), which is quite useful to as a sunshade and useful when it rains.

m) Reading materials, camera and film, game items (optional), note book, rubber band, pen and pencil, envelopes, a diary, a calendar, a pocket knife, binoculars (optional), a small pillow or headrest (optional). Thermoses (optional)- an inflatable sleeping mat, trekking map, adequate
