In Executive Search, there are no economies of scale, which can provide a benefit - on the contrary. We avoid conflicts of interest between the volume drift and ethics by a handling only a limited number of relationships to work in a branch or part thereof. There can be only one winner in an industry. This conflict of interest is the "off-limits" problem. This occurs when working for too many companies in the same industry resulting in no reasonable 'hunting ground' of candidates. Because we can and will not deliver to a company or institution and hunt candidates away at the same time. So working for too many companies in one industry limits the potential number of candidates seriously and therefore the ability to serve the client.

We also work on a limited number of projects at the same time to ensure that every project gets the full focus and higher creative and intellectual input of those involved than is possible in a larger practice.

The assessment of the candidates is the most crucial and absorbing element in the whole process. Even more than identifying potential candidates. During our interviews assumptions are questioned, as well as customs and myths. We are not trying to present just a candidate but a candidate that actually adds value. Any vacancy opens paths to renewal or confirmation of values and we make use of this opportunity for you.

Hans Langeveld is a former owner and Managing Partner of a premier large national and a global top search company and has led the Dutch office of a global search company and ran the European Advanced Technology Practice for the global company.. Before that, he was Board Member at KPN Telecom NV and CEO of the Business Market Division with some 3,000 personnel. A large reorganisation was carried out under his leadership at this division.
